Bob was a big lightheavyweight. Carl was a big super middleweight. I like the big lightheavyweight that hit like a truck.

Can't see it. Froch was a better boxer than he's sometimes given credit for, but nevertheless he still had to win a lot of his fights with his strength, stamina, durability and accumulative power. He put it together in spurts now and then, but the only fight he ever won which you'd really call a boxing clinic or a tight defensive performance was the Abraham fight. In other words, he usually had to out-fight the other guy. He ain't out-fighting one of the tip-top hardest hitting Light-Heavyweights in history.

Ward pushed Froch back plenty in their fight, and Foster manhandled just about everyone at 175. With Froch being so hittable and giving away both height and reach, I could see this being a real beatdown. I think Froch gets stopped in the middle, maybe late rounds. Very tough man with a big heart, but coming back after being hurt against Taylor, Kessler, Groves etc. at 168 is very different to trying to come back after being hurt by Foster at 175.

I cannot see one single advantage Carl would have, plus he's quite hittable. If Jermaine Taylor dropped Froch, Foster?

As already mentioned froch was hittable and against a puncher like foster I can't see this ending well for froch

Foster wins this and it wouldn't go the distance

    Quite hittable is an understatement.

He's tough as hell but against a huge powerhitting lightheavy like Bob? Yikes

Bob Foster by TKO 10, Bob gets tagged once for looking at Froch's wife sitting at ringside, but then keeps Carl at bay with his long left jab. But by round 12, Bob has found the range, and ends it with his very wicked left hook which puts out the lights for Carl.

How do you know? How many lightheavies has Froch fought? Froch had a very good chin, but it wasn't impervious. Taylor dropped him

Day before weigh ins. He was the same size as a full sized light heavy in Foster's era.
