2 years already? As much as I like him, he has some serious work to do to become an ATG yet (if ever).

I hope he gets some good fights soon and doesn't age overnight.

    Very good fight.

A younger Linares who hadn't been through wars might have had enough to beat him, Linares was that skilful in his prime.

Lomachenko would have beaten any version of Linares. Six times a week and twice on Sunday.

No. This is the fight that Loma fked his shoulder up in yet still systemically broke Linares up.. & in his first fight in the division too. & You could tell Linares was juiced to fk in this one aswell.. Linares is a really good offensive fighter, sharp puncher & athletically gifted but he's not & never was on Lomas level.. Loma danced around him in this one. Ye Linares had the odd moment but overall he was beaten decisively.. if anything a fight at a lower weight would suit Loma more as he's the more natural FW of the two..

Saying all that tho Loma needs a really solid 18 months now because he's going to start to markedly decline after that period imo being as he's a reflex fighter

My goodness. Feels like this fight was weeks ago. Time going by so fast. Vice principal in high school would always talk about pace of life as you get older.

I'll echo both the sentiments of "good fight" and "wow, 2 years already."

Well he got flattened by an ageing, war-torn Linares so I'm not sure how your theory is stacking up.

The knockdown was more due to Loma being reckless than anything else. Also would Lomachenko lose to the likes of Salgado and DeMarco?
