    Uppercut83 - internet attorney!!

But seriously, how much "strength" could he have possibly added between 160 and 168?

People often confuse bulk with strength and strength with punching power. The three things are related somewhat, but there's no direct correlation.

    Well spoken,mate!

I for my part think that the thread's creator just tries to belittle AA's achievements.

Quick accurate punches are much better than slow bombs with full body weight. Miranda threw everything with body weight behind it while Abraham waited for the good opportunity and landed the shot of the year - a short right hook even the replays couldn't show well. So no, he's not on anything, or maybe he's on skills! :D

This thread is ridiculous. Abraham has always had this kind of power. It's just a matter of Abraham finding an oppurtunity to unleash it. He goes from starching Demers in 3, to being taken 11 with Gevor, to starching Elcock in 5, to be taken 12 with Ayala, back to starching Miranda in 4. Put money down on Maquez going 10.

Actually Abraham has fought 14 fights at 161+, his record in those fights is 14-0 (14). It just might be that he isn't as weight drained and hits that much harder at 168.

It don't matter, AA is a one trick pony.

Pavlik is gonna "Lacy" him, you watch.

Pah! AA is no overhyped American who got schooled and stopped in his last amateur fight(by the Russian Gaidarbekov) and who was totally overrated by many american posters here on esb. Unlike Lacy AA has already proved that he is the real deal.

    Laugh it up guys.

I rarely make predictions or controversial comments (I'm sure people here can back me up on that), I've seen enough of AA to know he is in a world of trouble, if he fights Kelly.

AA is a way better fighter than Lacy, but he is gonna get "Lacy'd"

    No he hasn't.

He has proven to have a **** poor work rate, and a big punch. Nothing more. (beating Miranda don't prove ****, I love him, but he is a fringe contender/gatekeeper at best)

His defense is little footwork, and tight-high guard. What's he gonna do when Pavlik has him on the ropes, hits with a wicked body shot that drops his hands, and then goes to town on his ugly face?

His only hope is KO'ing The Ghost, and that is a possibility. If he doesn't, he is getting a 12 round beatdown.

Also, I do not think he is on any illegal supplement, his work rate is ****, and most supplements would give him more stamina than a fat girl.

-In the first fight, Abraham was kicking Miranda's ass right-up until his jaw was broken

-Miranda took a severe beating between the first fight and the rematch

-Strength has little to do with punching power

...or maybe.. just maybe... Miranda has declined... remember that he got KTFO in between fights with Abraham. AA has gotten better, Miranda had been exposed and gotten chinny.

Abraham didn't hit harder, it's just Miranda can't take a shot anymore.

i think AA foght a perfect fight, he gave away the first 3 rounds getting down his timing and letting Pantera gain some confidence then he exploded on him when he knew he could. it was beautiful to watch.

well miranda was kinda winning the fight...very similar to banks miranda. in how banks was winining the fight then got caught.

abe just waited and covered up. miranda did what he thought he was doing well. I.E throwing a jab not trying to ko him just get a point lead.

then he exploded in mirandas face, miranda couldnt adjust to the aggresision and was just dumped. for all i know he might of been able to continue if he had been knocked down later in the round and maybe survived the swarming

enhancements definetly not. he just swarmed a puncher who was pretending to box.
