Does he? He certainly has Wilders number, he’s way too big & strong for Wilder and the skills gap is ridiculously wide between the two of them. Wilder does not have the skill to get his one punch, Hail Mary, swing for the fences right hand home and due to his arrogance & protected status he hasn’t developed the ability to do anything else. Joshua on the other hand can come in at a natural 250lbs and he’s as strong as a bull so won’t get rag dolled around like Wilder. Fury has the superior skills but Joshua is a far better boxer than Wilder, he has better timing and throws good combinations that are capable of KOing Fury. Fury won’t rush at Joshua the way he did in Wilder 2, he knows that Joshua has a better game and can land hurtfull shots with a variety of punches like uppercuts, left hook & overhand rights. So Fury will need to box in a similar style to the Wilder 1 fight but that too has its problems as we saw in round 12 of that fight. If Wilder can get to Fury in the later rounds then there’s no doubt whatsoever that a fitter, stronger less fatigued Joshua with a greater set of boxing fundamentals can do so as well. It’s a very intriguing fight and a true 50/50 in my opinion
I say Fury should quickly destroy Wilder one last time and save the $10 million. Wilder doesn't deserve any.
I agree Wilder does not deserve this it’s 10,000,000 for not fighting, and then getting a chance at the —-unified— title in his next fight He don't deserve that. he lost his last fight Fury should go ahead and beat him and then unify after that As much as we don’t want to see it or waste time on it, I guess it Has to be done due to contractual obligation’s
so im guessing Wilder isn't talking as much crap on twitter these days?? no big announcements like he kept stalling with while refusing to sign against the top dogs???
That is great news for us & especially him! 10 milly is an incredible amount to not rush back into a fight he would probably lose. this gives him time to refine his game & really hone his comeback.
I don't know, there's a lot of money in the fight. It might sound ridiculous, but it's not necessarily beyond plausibility, especially if this thing is going to Saudi Arabia.
All this is exactly right. Add: Degrading legends. Bragging whiles having a fraudulent, manufactured title reign Being the beneficiary of at least one fixed fight (I think there is more) Beating up hookers and Burrito mascots. But yeah, it was the talk of wanting to kill someone that convinced me that this was a very unique piece of ****. I never, ever wish injury on a fighter, but much like Adonis Stevenson, I sure wouldn't shed any tears. It isn't an athletic competition to the man--he likes to hurt other human beings, and apparently kill them. As for thread topic, I hope it is true but I doubt it comes off. the only way this fight is killed is if the money changers figure out that they will make no profit, because no one cares any longer.
he is definitely one of the biggest scumbags in boxing history now there’s an interesting list idea...
This doesn't make business sense unless Wilder has an interim fight between now and then. Who'd pay to see Wilder fight the winner of Fury vs Joshua coming off a long layoff following a brutal and one-sided KO? He needs to get another brutal KO of his own, preferably against a name opponent to make himself relevant for this. I suggest Whyte or Ruiz as possible opponents.
I've always said Wilder has great management. He save himself a beating in Wilder vs Fury 3, and picks up 10 million dollars.
