Joshua's worst performances, where he looked gassed, lost rounds, and was hurt or dropped. Povetkin, Wlad, Ruiz 1, and Takam. ( 247 - 255lbs) Joshua's best performances where he dominated the majority of the rounds, or destroyed his opposition with relative ease. Brezeale, Parker, Ruiz 2, Sprott, Martin and Skelton. ( 244 - 238lbs)
I take your point but its not a coincidence that the fighters in the bottom bracket were pretty much sitting ducks in terms of movement. Parker fight was a joke. Has that ref had a world level fight before or since? Thats was dodgy as ****. Joshua will always struggle against movement whether he is heavy or light.
Parker would have lost anyhow. Think Parker can feel hard done by in the Whyte fight as well. Suprised he’ll still fight in England. Guess the cash talks
Wilder and Pulev should take the money, Fury and Joshua are the best and Wilder and Pulev should fight each other and wait for their chance. My opinion is Joshua will knock out Fury because Fury will not be able to resist Joshua's strength, Joshua is a great finisher and has more knockout power than Fury, I also think Joshua should use his left hook again, Fury will try to keep his distance with his long arms and eventually wait for his chance...
Joshua clearly has problems at over 245 and has awful stamina and slow At UNDER 240 his stamina improves a fair bit but he becomes lightweight, see Parker and Ruiz 2 his punches weren't hurtful So I think his best weight would be 242lbs in the middle But whatever he weighs Fury will destroy him but if he wants to max his career, 242 or a lb either way
maybe, but when a ref takes away your whole fight strategy then what chance do you have? Similar to when Chisora fought Pulev you could see about round 4 or 5 Del boy giving up and just going through the motions.
Hopefully Coronavirus makes Fury vs Joshua more likely. The public need a big lift after this crap and I don’t think there’s that much appetite for Pulev/Wilder fights. It’s from ‘tha boxing voice’ so probably nonsense, but they’re suggesting Wilder would take $10m and a guaranteed shot at the winner to step aside. No idea how viable but at least wheels are in motion. Coronavirus could also rule out travelling too far at the tail end of 2020 for a fight in Saudi or Vegas. Maybe a big showdown in December in the UK is possible after all.
I make Fury a favourite and yes he destroyed Wilder but no way does he destroy Joshua. He’ll not even attempt to walk through him like he did Wilder (who has zero fundamentals or natural strength). I believe he’ll fight a style closer to how he did against Klitschko but age will force him to engage a bit more. I think it will be a very competitive fight.
Paint Dry Parker was awful v Tony Dosh PPV and Pudding Whyte was the better man by far. Paint Dry has only beat A. FAT Pudding for the VACANT World Title for the belt stolen from the REAL Champion TYSON FURY. Paint Dry was even lucky to get the nod against the Burger King Poster Boy. Paint Dry in the ring is even more boring than his lockdown dad dancing.
Coronovirus - planes still flying and spreading the disease all over the world even today. Can easily see big fights in Saudi and Vegas long before the UK
If the fights next then it doesn't matter where the fights held as no fans will be there anyway. I can't see Pulev being a problem to pay step aside money too as he's only hung about for one last payday anyway, chuck him a few quid and he'll still end up being an easy defence for somebody so can get paid again down the line. Fury obliterates Wilder again so he should demand 10 million and a guarantee to fight the winner for all the belts. All wishful thinking I know.
I think Fury will mix it up, fight in spurts but then move around get AJ to burn some energy box him at range and them maybe try and down him late. Fury on points.
Definitely a points win for Fury. He's not big enough to impose himself on AJ. AJ will be shattered moving for 12 rounds. But if he hits Joshua in the sweet spot then we know Joshua INSTANTLY gasses and is there to be finished, it's ridiculous.
God you guys are stupid hahha. Fury has been going for years without being a big puncher. Now he beats up on wilder (who was overrated to begin with) and now all of a sudden Fury is George Foreman and Mike Tyson rolled up into one? AJ has been knocking out guys this whole time but he gets a technical win over Ruiz...and now all of a sudden he is weak and timid? I think your hatred of AJ is clouding your judgement of him. Look at the difference between their Klitschko fights. Fury won a split decision in the most boring fight in history. AJ won by KO in the fight of the year. Fury has been fighting bums since he came back, outside of the two Wilder fights. And AJ has been fighting nothing but top ten guys for a while now. The Wilder fight has nothing to do with the Fury vs AJ fight. And a lot of you will be shocked at how easy AJ topples Fury when they do fight.
