    Who's the one who goes the distance? I don't agree that Bob beats ALL of them, but Bob was deadly, and I really doubt most of them could beat him.

    I personally think Moore, Harold Johnson, Galindez, and Saad, given the years I chose, could beat Foster, but most of the others get knocked out like u said.

    Out of all of them, I really can't see Bob ever beating Saad.

    He beats everyone on the list, though Galindez, Conteh, and Saad takes him to the wire.

    To clarify, we’re pitting him against each of these fighters in those exact years? That includes him, too?

    In that case, I strongly disagree with everyone else in the thread. I could see him losing many of those fights. From ‘74 on he would lose to most of them.

    Saad going to get in a firefight with Bob Foster? I like Saad but that's got knockout wrote all over it.

    Archie Moore could give Bob some trouble with his know how, and at his best Eddie Mustafa Muhammed might go the distance but I don't see anyone on that list beating Foster. You have to go into names like Ezzard Charles and Spinks to be favored over Bob at 175

    I'd pick Moore 24/7 incredible fighting machine.

    Ray Anderson went the distance with Bob Foster on April 24 1971, it was unanimous for Foster, saw that fight. Bob Foster retained his title. Foster was champion from 1968-1974, he retired as champion very few did.

    I know that people will say that Bob Foster was kayoed by Smoking Joe Frazier, which is true. But the other light heavyweights that were listed too would have been knocked out by the 1970 version of Frazier as well, Joe was a locomotive, running over everyone back then, including light heavyweights
