He won 7 rounds on an official card and scored two knockdowns in the first fight, and won 2 rounds on an official card and was dropped twice in the rematch. Meaning he's OFFICIALLY won 9 of the 19 rounds and both men scored two knockdowns in their first two fights.

Over the last two years, he has faced the current #4 Ring rated contender Ortiz, the current World Champ Fury, the WBC #1 contender Breazeale, the current #4 Ring contender Ortiz (again), the current World Champ Fury (again) ... and scored seven knockdowns along the way ... and he's fighting the current World and WBC champ Fury again when he returns to the ring.

Deontay Wilder has fought better opponents than any other heavyweight on the planet over the last few years. But some of you dolts haven't noticed because you're still talking about Jason Gavern.

Don't worry, there's always a last person to cross the finish line. You'll get there eventually. Everyone may have gone home by the time you catch up, though.

Please do try to catch up, though. It's tiring arguing with people who haven't updated their arguments since 2014.

Losing to one guy doesn't end your career at all. I don't think everybody else can rush him and end him easily.

I think we’re all aware he’s going to fight for a title in is next fight

But after he gets beaten again, as will happen, his stock will plummet as far as him being viable at the upper level

There might be a demand to see him fight people Ruiz or possibly Whyte but the days of him being “king”, as he laughably refers to himself, are over

One more embarrassment at the hands of Fury, which is coming up, and he is going to stink from the upper eschlon of boxing

Many, including myself, already see him out of the upper echelon of boxing—- he’s just still there for now because he’s contractually obligated to be there———— for one more fight

Why does everyone think a fighter's career is automatically over after the first loss?. Is Wilder the first fighter in history to lose?.

yes fair play on the 9 of 19 rounds, good point, equally fair though is that Fury in several rounds really dominated Wilder wacking him all over the ring as evidence by Wilders own admission that his legs weren't right. Whereas when Wilder knocked Fury down in the 12 Fury got back up and started scoring significantly against Wilder in the very round he got knocked down in, correct??

    correct??

    I said, correct???

It was only one loss on the record books, but most everyone thought he also lost the first Fury fight, too

he’s was also getting thoroughly unboxed by Ortiz until a saving grace power shot

and it’s glaringly obvious he has a very low level of boxing skill

He is very vulnerable for anyone to come along and “expose” again,

And it will happen again, very soon. that you can count on

No heavyweight champion has ever lost a decision when he had floored his challenger twice in a fight (and he hasn't gone down himself). And a draw is a successful defense. It is for every champion in boxing, Wilder included.

Wilder can become the World heavyweight champion in his next fight.

    No other heavyweight can.

Based on their last two fights, I think Joshua is the vulnerable one when it comes to chins.

And you don't get to demand rematch clauses in mandatory defenses. Pulev can win and move on.

Joshua is one loss away from joining Billy Joe on the next Logan Paul undercard.

Yes well unfortunately Wilder has a contractually agreed second rematch even though Fury has already beaten him twice.

We all know Fury is going to just kick his ass again and then it WILL be over for Wilder as much as his lame ass fangirls want to act otherwise

He can always have Ortiz 3 and Stiverne 3 for the pbc title I guess

He's vulnerable, but also extremely dangerous. Wilder doesn't rely on outboxing opponents, he fully relies on his power and it got him far enough for both of us to talk about him right now. No offense, but that Ruiz fight analysis you made is garbage and rather typical from his haters(not ncessarily suggesting you are one). He fought Ruiz and beat him twice using the same exact tactic and Ruiz is a very serious opponent. Fury is ATG quality and he went 19 rounds with him in two fights with both of them scoring 2 knockdowns of each other. His career is hardly over.

How often was he stopped prior to the Fury fight? Usually he had 36 minutes and it was enough. Fury is different than most guys. I never thought Wilder was that good, and he is rather amateurish, but his power is what gets him through. Handpicking the right guys he can fight on for awhile..
