AJ has better features than Mayweather.

 

Bruno was very slow at school and dominated by his wife, AJ seems more extroverted than Frank who was obsessed with being British.

 

Not everybody in the UK has seen Fury fight or really knows who he is, he`s not as famous as Bruno was.

 

If Hearn is forcing AJ to fake a smile and personality, how is Joshua being cynical? Surely you mean Hearn is being cynical?

I can neither agree nor disagree since I'm a straight male. But I can comment that Mayweather has a MAJOR advantage over AJ in the quick with and talking departments. Women like that too. Some short guys play the brash trash talking/smart guy game and if they have the charisma and back bone to back it up it works like a charm. Other short guys go for the calm cool, and collected approach. If Floyd and Joshua didn't have money and were trying to get at the same woman, Floyd could actually win due to his slick talk and would win the mental warfare with Joshua easily. That would change in a heartbeat if Joshua just picked him up and slammed him tho.

If you watch early Mayweather interviews he seems to have been a little more introverted and quiet but came out of his shell to get more people to hate him for ticket sales. Eventually it just took over his whole personality and he forgot how to turn it off since it worked so well.

 

I never thought Mayweather was an especially slick talker. I thought he always came across quite awkward but others obviously don't see him that way. In the build up to the Hatton and De La Hoya fights I remember regularly thinking that he'd embarrassed himself with some of his ill thought out comments.

It's definitely AJ, women love Big tall lean muscle guys like that.

Sure Floyd has more charisma but he'd need to play a longer game, if they both walked into a nightclub AJ would have way more success because women would look at him and just imagine getting destroyed by him. And that's all these hoes want

 

I was kind of extrapolating off his trash talk in face offs and press conferences, not so much that he was a smooth talker. Some ghetto chicks like a guy who talks trash and clowns people.

The way he handled the "beef" with Adrian Broner was very smooth. He turned on the camera and caught AB off guard asking him in a very straightforward tone "what is your problem with me?" And Broner just fumbled over his words and talked out his ass. Mayweather simply looked at the camera, smirked, and ended the video.

True a lot of women like big muscle heads but some of them get very intimidated and self conscious about their own bodies even if they're in good shape. They might feel like their bodies aren't good enough or automatically assume a buff guy won't want them. Joshua is fairly soft spoken and easy going outside the ring but women just automatically assume you're an arrogant douche if you're tall and fit.

"He was hot until he opened his mouth" is a common complaint women have when a guy is physically attractive but not a great conversationalist. Obviously if they were in a room full of women AJ could pull better numbers, but if Mayweather and AJ faced off AJ would be in trouble. Look how uncomfortable he was hearing Jarrel Miller talk trash.
