That video is embarrasing - I'm sure that there were some low blows - every fighter does it, but man alive, the very first punch in that video is a body shot. I stopped watching it after at least 4 of the first 5 were clear bodyshots, and not even borderline.
I dunno. I think he's running out of material, or it's an impostor. Either way, he's just not what he once was. Sad to see a 'legend' of the forum start on the inevitable slippery slope of decline. Maybe we can open a Classic Troll section where he can trot out his back catalogue?
There isn't a Mexican fighter currently campaigning between 126-135 that could beat Lomachenko. We all know why Salido didn't fancy a rematch ( and it wasn't because he was "low-balled").
The best punches from Salido in that fight were..well, you know in what place they were. And it wasn't 1 or 2 times, these punches, when he use them all the time, they also can make his opponents tired, nervous, making them to change their plan and manner of boxing. It's not serious to comment that fight like a serious fight.
Just dont get into a conversation with MVC! You cant have a sensible conversation with a deluded troll / bullshitter. Most people here understand why he does it (to generate advertising clicks for the site) so they just avoid sensible discussion with him
Consider himself lucky.. Honestly Salido was a glassy chin but rugged fighter that was declining when Loma got to him.
That's the blue print. You have to make it rough. Some of them were straying low some were belt line. So I think you have to make it uncomfortable in there to achieve the desired. The ref didn't do his job maybe Mexico runs San Antonio. But you know Salido is a tough hombre. Sadly not many more like him around at the moment.
