Tyson will start sparring, and my guess is realise he doesnt have the required fitness or refex to take it any further.
If he does possess at least part of both, hopefully then match him with Holyfield, Toney, Briggs, Oliver McCall or someone like that.
He would be smashed to pieces by Joshua/Fury and it would be a horrible watch. He would have about 1 minute to wipe them out or he would he gasping for breath taking a hiding till it was stopped.

I m all for a tyson comeback. But people need to get real. Hes 53 years old not lived the life for years. My guess is holyfield, briggs, allen would all beat him at this stage...easily as well. He needs to go lower than that level...a lot lower.

Keep training sensibly. Keep fighting every oppertunity against basically no hopers all the while getting stronger and fitter then start slowly building it up otherwise he,ll give up after sparring or tying to train hard enough to compete with guys out of his reach atm.

Tyson was past his prime over 20 years ago. Any half alright active heavyweight batters him now - I find it bizarre that it's even a discussion.

This is getting more and more inevitable with every passing day. When boxing re-starts some promoter with more debts than scruples (which is to say, just about every one of them) will pay Tyson and another long-retired heavy enough to get them training for a few weeks and it'll happen. Like it or not, Tyson even at 53 is one of the handful of (former) boxers who could generate big money.

He would beat him I expect. Obviously different levels prime for prime but Allen is a half decent domestic level operator. Tyson’s body fell apart years ago and he hasn’t been great since the late 80s. He was losing at Allen’s level by the end of his career.

Great to see Tyson back in shape though, looks tremendous for his age. Would tune in for a fight with a Briggs or Holyfield for nostalgias sake but not sure he’d beat them tbh. Holyfield is obviously still on an HGH diet.

I think people comparing this to Nigel Benn’s I’ll fated come back are spot on. Look at David Haye against Bellew. Came back and knocked over a few cans after a career ending injury and everyone got back aboard the hype train (myself included), then his body undermined him again. That was someone who lives the life in terms of looking after himself and was retired nowhere near as long and wasn’t being stopped by domestic level fighters and journeymen...no disrespect to Williams there, he had a great career and provided a lot of entertainment to fans of british boxing over the years. I’d entertain a Williams and Tyson rematch actually, as wrong as that is.

I saw Holyfield on the bag and pads and he was extremely slow and stiff. Ridiculously slow and so stiff that he couldn’t throw hooks with any decent rotation. Tyson would smoke him with in 30 seconds if they had an exhibition. Tyson at least still has explosive speed, he’d beat Holyfield to the punch easily.

I would but if the fight gets made I’m sure there will be headguards and a rule that says no KO punches to the head.

If you dont think Dave Allen could beat a 53 years old Mike Tyson then you have no clue about boxing.

I heard Wilder already has Tyson lined up so Allen needs to wait his turn.

The man says and does a few stupid things but on this subject all he's done is answer it as honestly as you could ever want him to. He'd absolutely destroy a 53 year old Mike Tyson, there are probably quite a few amateurs out there that could destroy a 53 year old Mike Tyson.
