Tommy Morrison vs. Andrew Golota

Granted. But I think Morrison was more vulnerable.

 

The Golota of the Bowe fights wins, any other Golota runs outta da ring after 3 rounds.

 

Golota was very gifted and talented, but his mentality when hurt would undo him. Morrison will hurt him. Golota will foul out and get DQed.

Golota, greatest fighter that could and should have been.

 

Yea i remember that on Tuesday night fights way back in the day, ok were losing the fight, so lets bite the guy who's kicking our backside in the neck..

Andy also was fouling Darnell Nicholson, a kronk prospect in the 90"s:nut, headbutts etc:-(..

Pouah, and Nicholson, were on the level of Morrison's sparring partners, i see Golata cracking up and having a panic attack, and getting Dqd before Morrison bombs him outta there..

 

I favor Golota. Morrison would fold under the bombs Andy hit bowe with, and the older Golota could win by boxing at a measured pace. Not a sure thing tho.

 

If Golota keeps his head on straight, he outpoints Tommy, but anything could happen really...Morrison could very well land that magic left hook and put the Polish sausage on his back for a ko.

 

Didn't matter with that left hook of his.....and I don't think Golota was that much of a puncher. I'm leaning more to Morrison.

 

Extremely debatable, according to guy's like Teddy Atlas boxing is more mental than physical, and i tend to agree with this, Morrison clearly had a stronger mindset than the pole...

Common opponent Lennox Lewis, needed 7 rounds to dispatch Morrison, only 1 for the pole...

 

Its all a matter of how Golota's head is that night its his fight to lose but Morrison was also erratic, Andrew had the better chin but that's not saying much Tommy was shaky

Lennox beat the **** out of Tommy. Not the best measuring stick.

Although being as Golota got himself tossed in two fights he was dominating nothing with him is EVER a lock.

This Golota was an animal though I can't see Tommy lasting past 3 rounds with this Golota.

actua;;y a good matchup, gotta go with Tommy, lil more polished, a lot more heart and ability, Golata, needed a "dunce cap" when he enterd the ring.
