Diego Corrales, Zab Judah, Jose Luis Castillo, Ricky Hatton, Canelo Alvarez (was green though). Genaro Hernandez and Marco Madiana were over 30 when they fought Mayweather, but still in their prime anyways.
Some list that and Canelo was not green at all because I watched him live a year earlier when he beat Sugar Shane Mosley. I was astonished by his skills and composure against Mosley.
Mosley had 2-3-1 over his last six fights. Canelo's only world-class fight before Mayweather was Trout, and the fight went wrong.
I don’t care whether he was 10 years past his best as you say because that the type of crap with all due respect is said to discredit a fighter’s win.
It's not mean to disrespect anybody. I don't live in an alternate universe where I ignore facts. I'm a fact oriented guy. Anybody with 2 eyeballs with tell you Mosley was long past his best.
What I am saying is not personal at you. I am not saying he had not seen better days and for me at ringside it was bittersweet. However it was mainly to do with Canelo as even then Mosley would have dealt with other fighters.
Maidana had a lot of mileage on him by then. Wars with Ortiz, Lopez, Soto-Karass, and being shut out by Devon Alexander.
