Haye's embarrassing loss to Klitschko and subsequently blaming it on his toe >>>>> AN's loss to Ruiz. Ruiz is better than Harris and Barrett by a long shot. He's got very fast hands for his size, a good chin and has a lot of strength. AJ underestimated him, paid the price and won the rematch fairly easily. Sorry but Haye did nothing of note. Fighting Dereck Chisora and Audley Harrison isn't impressive.
Hahaha, either Fury or AJ would comfortably beat him. To a lesser extent, Windmill Wilder even. Haye had a string of mediocre wins at HW and a laughable loss to Klitschko. Haye lost to Bellew. You can try and claim he's "past his prime" but Haye was the favourite. Fury was also the underdog against Klitschko. It's only after the loss that people start crying "Hes past his prime!". Everyone expected Klitshko to beat Fury.
It really is. Heard many say here over the years he's the best CW ever... Oh well... fans are gonna be fans. And that's OK .
Tbf, there isn't a 6ft 2" 15 stone fighter ever to exist that would beat Wlad or if your a believer in the old fighters being able to do something against these super heavies with skills theres only a very select few. Whether you appreciated his style or not, Wlads an atg and a h2h monster, Haye couldn't do anything with him
Tough one to call. Haye ultimately disappointed at HW, but, because of this, he gets vastly underrated. Unfortunately, many people on here let emotion get in the way of an objective evaluation. Also, far too many people just bring up resume and don't look at how the respective styles will gel. I notice people using the Wlad match as a barometer of how AJ v Haye will go. It's a decent example, but it doesn't tell the full story. Wlad, like AJ, has height and reach over Haye. However, Wlad was an extremely tentative fighter against anyone who didn't stand still in front of him (much like Wilder). Other than the second Ruiz fight, AJ has always been more aggressive. This would open him up to more counters. Wlad also had his weight on his back foot and would move back at the first sign of forward motion from his opponent. He also has quicker feet than AJ, is a better judge of distance, has better footwork, and has a more authoritative jab, therefore, making him much harder to tag than AJ. In AJ's favour, unlike Wlad, he throws in combination, even at distance, so this will make it harder for Haye to evade, but he has shown an ability to be elusive against multiple shots. For me, it's whoever lands the big shot first wins the fight. Haye would have AJ frustrated and looking silly, but a smart, cautious AJ could control Haye at distance and tie up when Haye gets close. It would be a similar fight to the Klit fight, but slightly more action and ending in a KO as AJ makes more mistakes than Wlad, therefore, opening him more to Haye's counters, and AJ is less tentative than Wlad and throws in combinations, therefore, giving him more of a chance of landing on Haye. Forget Haye's HW resume and his appaling showing against Wlad (by the way, whoever said Wlad destroyed Haye is blind. No one got destroyed in that fight. It was a dull tactical stand off for 12 rounds). Head to head, Haye is an awkward fight for most HW's. Very tough to look good against. He has power, speed and great elusiveness. He wasn't technically a great defensive tactician, but he used his athletic abilities to great effect to not get hit. Anyone who thinks that Fury is a defensive genius should not forget that Haye was just as hard to tag.
Let's see: Wladimir Klitschko compared to David Haye had the: 1) Height advantage 2) Weight advantage 3) Reach advantage 4) Venue advantage 5) Muscle mass advantage Meanwhile, what advantage did Andy Ruiz Jr have over Anthony Joshua? Only venue. Whilst Joshua had the: 1) Height advantage 2) Functional weight advantage 3) Muscle mass advantage 4) Reach advantage 4) Greater wealth and resources Yet despite all those advantage, not only did Anthony Joshua lose to Ruiz, but got destroyed and stopped. The fact that you can't see this, speaks volumes about you as a human being. Under ALMOST no circumstances is it ever acceptable for a physical specimen with 6 packs who is much taller and rangier and muscular, to lose to an absolute obese fat midget with no heart like Andy Ruiz Jr the way Joshua did. The fact that he did, makes him worthless. As worthless as a 7 foot NBA player getting beaten up by his 5 foot 0 wife and then trying to sue his wife for getting destroyed in court. That's how embarrassing it is for Joshua to get knocked out by someone line Andy Ruiz Jr. For Joshua to avenge such a humiliating defeat, he has to go back in there and not only beat, but KO and not only KO, but KO Andy Ruiz Jr even more brutally than how Andy Ruiz Jr did to him. Only then, and I mean ONLY then, can he truly redeem himself. Until then, Joshua will continue to remain a worthless scum not worthy of any value or credit, irrespective of what he does. David Haye never ever lost to a fat, obese midget with no heart who chokes over his own words when he speaks due to how appalling his conditioning is. Joshua doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as guys like David Haye, Tyson Fury, even Deontay Wilder and etc. If Anthony Joshua can't avenge his stoppage loss to Ruiz by an even more destructive KO, then he should literally consider killing himself because that's how shameful and pathetic it is to get knocked out by someone like Andy Ruiz Jr. Whilst, there's absolutely no shame in losing to an all time great heavyweight like Wladimir Klitschko in his absolute prime.
Haye doesn’t hit as hard as Klitschko or Whyte and AJ took their power. Haye was a cruiserweight ffs. Joshua would steamroll him. So would Fury and Wilder have. Although he has the most chance against Wilder due to his poor defence and weak chin.
I think Fury, AJ and Wilder would likely beat Haye. I would have given Haye a chance against Wilder, but the way Haye talked about his sparring sessions with Wilder makes me think Wilder handled him rather easily. It' funny because back when that 3 second clip was released the talk was how Haye was able to run rings around Wilder. In the build up to Fury Wilder II, Haye tells a different story; that Wilder was too tough for him. I think Haye would easily beat Fat Andy. Ruiz had cement bricks for feet. Haye would run around him and land hard shots from range.
AG would just be to big for him .. haye did have a bit of talent not taking that from him but should of stayed at cruiser weight imo .Yeah did knock that big russian about but we are talking a different class when it comes to movement and boxing ability compared to that fight. See AG knocking him over around the 6th or 7th
