shavers is a top 2 generally, explain me why? "ali said, he said the other one said" and the bums , shot fighters with questionable chin that he destroyed... What tua did to john ruiz is much more brutal than anything that shavers did ever... Ruiz only got stopped by tua and by david haye when he was shot and it was by tko in 9, he took everything from guys like golota, rahman, and did beat them
There is nothing convenient about discussing boxing with you, believe me. You said Tua is amongst the top 5 hardest hitters in history. When I asked you to back that up you started bleating on about Shavers hitting green plants and making you laugh. I'm not sure where I'll get a nice day from, but if I find out where I will share the knowledge.
lol you have one of the weakest argument between of any "normal" guy that i have debated with on this forum. and when i say "one of them" i am being generous with you. get a nice day
I'm not arguing. I'm asking you to back up your statement, preferably with no mention to green plants.
Moorer and Ruddock would have been a good fight. Both guys were good at picking themselves off the deck and fighting back. I'd probably give Moorer the edge since he had a bit more dimension to his game and a decent southpaw jab.
That and the Ruddock factor of course. As in would he reach into his bag of tricks and how to deal with a southpaw. I think an accurate southpaw would be the worst thing for Ruddock and he get peppered never figuring out how to launch his 20 punches a round. Fight boils down to Moorer's footwork. The early lighter version of Moorer used his feet pretty well and moved around. Like lots of fighters, once he put on 5 or 10 pounds, he's flatfooted. No more doing things off the toes. That subtracts a big advantage he'd have in the matchup since Ruddock is the epitome of flat footed. Another thing it'd probably be is a textbook case of frustration for the corners. Each would be telling his guy what to do and the question would be at point would they bother to listen & do what they're told.
Pre Tyson fight Ruddock would beat Moorer, or Ruddock that fought Tyson twice would beat Moorer. Almost 20 rounds of getting nailed by Tyson power punches and still standing, although he was dropped multiple times in both fights, but that second fight really killed him physically. Look at his face at the end of their rematch, Ruddock's jaw wasnt where it suppose to be. I could see Moorer winning one if they happen to fight twice. Assuming Moorer never get caught flush on the chin by Ruddock's bomb.
Moorer was tough, but also vulnerable, although not as bad off as Ruddock. Both could punch, but Moorer was a good boxer. Once again, I'm not much of a Ruddock fan, but I say Moorer stops him after Ruddock gives him quite a beating. I imagine it something like Moorer-Stewart.
I think I trust Ruddock's durability and stamina more, he did stand up to bombs from Tyson, though I think against Moorer he'd see a more consistent peppering of damage from the right jab and combos. I just think once this thing turns into a shoot out, and it would, Moorer would lose the marathon.
Thats possible. Ruddock was a tough fighter. That lefthanded stance is gonna give him nightmares. If lures Moorer into a brawl id give him the edge.
