Sanders isn't knocking him out, period. So, beyond that... Sander's could move and box early in his career. He actually weighed under 220 pounds as long as 6 years into his career. Regardless, I'd favor Mercer the majority of the time.
Mercer wins, Prime Mercer had a steel jaw!! Sanders is not getting a KO so I see Ray getting one later in the fight..
Corrie would win some early rounds but for as hard as he hit Mercer isnt going anywhere. Mercer would start going around the 4th and **** him badly in the 5th in a Tommy Morrison like Ko. Mercer ko 5.
But that southpaw style could give him problems. Corrie can box as he's shown in the past when he was in shape.
i guess mercer should be fav but then again i can see him walking right into sanders straight left hands....which would really test that steel chin so if sanders is in shape....
Mercer is just a higher calibre of fighter. Prime Mercer would've demolished the Wlad that Sanders beat just as quickly IMO. Mercer wasn't as fast as Sanders, but he could bang and was super hard to dissuade. He gets the Golfer out within five IMO.
Depends on which version of Sanders we are talking about. The guy that moved and boxed could get a points win. The guy that slugged I think might run into the problem of Mercer's steel chin.
