Was such a good fight on a Sunday IIRC because of the bank holiday weekend.

Great build up, explosive fight. Re: the "Haye hit me hardest thread". If this fight had gone on longer Makabu could have been up there as the hardest punchers Bellew faced. He made Tony do a full backwards roll with the force of that punch.

Also props to Hearn for putting the fight on. He made a loss on the fight but wanted to give Bellew his dream venue.

The funniest part of the night for this Matchroom Card was in one of the undercard fights - one of the trainers was wearing a Boxnation T Shirt.

    Priceless comedy

Think this was also the card where Dave Coldwell thought it would be a good idea to bulk David Price up to 270lbs and said it was working because he knocked out an 11-fight novice from the Czech Republic.

Penfold really stepped up the deterioration of David Price - he fought a pudding that night and still look gassed from the end of round 1.

Vaclav Pejsar. He has a win over Craig Glover, put some respect on that name

Talking of Craig Glover he is an odd one.

After watching him against Valilly I thought he looked the goods. Solid fundamentals, could bang a bit, dangerous with his hooks etc.

Since then he's been lit up by a journeyman in a shock and taken out by Billam-Smith

I remember Callum Smith struggling to put away some Argentinian midget on this show.
