Froch but it would be violent because Brewer would be very willing to engage with him.

Froch was far more durable and I don't think Brewer is the kind of fighter who would box rings round him - he isn't the kind of fignter Froch had trouble with.

    Great nickname battle as well.

Enjoying the Froch appreciation threads at the moment.

Aye, but it pales in comparison to Sahaprom vs Inoue...

As much as I like the Hatchet and am happy to see a thread that involves him, I have to go with Froch in a very physical tough fight. Froch simply was a better fighter all around. Brewer was good though. I wonder what he is up to these days? He was in some good fights and always gave a great effort.

I saw a recent interview with him. He’s running a salon with his wife and he’s also training his son who’s recently turned pro.

I liked Brewer a lot. Such a fun fighter.

Glad to hear he's doing well.

    Was robbed blind against Ottke.

I’ve been meaning to watch them again soon. The first one I felt he won clear but Ottke did better in the re-match. Probably not enough still.

I felt Calzaghe’s most entertaining fight was with Brewer. I loved that fight.

I haven't watched those fights in awhile. I remember thinking the first one could have gone either way but I'm pretty sure I had Ottke winning the 2nd one by a couple if rounds. Definitely close fights.

Ottke is such a strange fighter to me. His amauter resume is crazy good with wins over Tarver, Gomez, Moorer, Erdei but so many of his pro fights were close.

I was referring more to the first fight. A clear Brewer win.
