How does anyone not understand that Usyk is going to do great at heavy?

I still think he'll do very good but I'm less optimistic about his chances than I used to be after seeing that he's gone down the bulking up route. I think what he was coming in at down at CW (207-208 ish) was his optimum fighting weight and he looks even bigger and more muscular to me now than he did against Witherspoon (215) and I'm not happy about that because I also think he looked noticeably slower in that fight. He weighed about 212 against Joyce in the WSB but he wasn't as bulky as he is now and he definitely looked faster to me and had a much higher output. His reflexes looked sharper too. That's the Usyk I've always envisaged and hoped we'd see at HW because I think he would've caused all those big lumbering oafs absolute nightmares because skills pay the bills, right? Oh wait lol.

That being said, he was coming back from a serious injury against Witherspoon and had been out for almost a year and he still looked good in that fight and it obviously wasn't him at anywhere near full throttle and if you think it was you're a moron.

I certainly hope Uysk does great things at heavyweight. He’s definitely the underdog, and would like nothing more than seeing him beat Fury and Joshua, witnessing those wins would be extremely exciting.

Though I know about Usyk beating opponents easily at WSB, none of those opponents had the size and skill at Fury, or Joshua. People use Joyce as the perfect example, and though Joyce has the size, he definitely does not have the speed, or skill of Fury, or Joshua.

My money is on Fury and Joshua both beaten him. Apart from those two I see him beaten everyone else, could be wrong, but that is what I think from what I have seen so far.

Certain idiots hate the thought of Usyk doing great at HW so they’ll try their best to dismiss his chances. But deep down they know what’s coming :)

Ortiz is not a world class fighter, which is why Wilder chose him.

I am not saying Wilder can't hit, but his power is overrated due to bum fights and even fixed fights.

Thanks. This is why I said he would not beat anyone not named fury or Joshua.

Hit hard enough to drop fury and fury is elusive and Usyk can't bully wilder

Yeah, when Fury was physically denuded from weight loss and drug abuse. He his Fury clean a couple of times that I remember in the rematch, and...nothing.

I am not arguing it too hard. I don't Wilder finds him with a Geiger counter. We might see this one.

Even the video you posted Joe Joyce is doing well against him and he is a mediocre heavyweight.

He's too old. Too light to fight HW and too thin to win. I don't see a title.

I think Usyk could do well. I look forward to him facing the big boys. The heavies today are a huge lot, but Usyk seems to have more talent than most of them.

And Wilder is older, Fury likely fat and Joshua with less confidence. He can do fine.

This post basically sums up how I feel about Usyk. He beat a few fellow Eurobots (barely scraped by a couple) at cruiser and people are calling him a P4P ATG. He can’t beat Joshua or Fury at heavyweight .

i don't necessarily disagree. Heavies in this day and age do age slower than they used to.

I agree Usuk will do fine. Its just that he is not a powerful hitter like Joshua or a goliath like Fury. For him to beat those guys, he needs speed. And speed declines faster than power.

I hope Usyk wins the title though. Would be fun to see a southpaw champion.
