He needed to be put in his place. Taught a lesson. I don't think he's recovered from that turnbuckle smash yet
That upsets me. I can understand fully why Brendan rebuffed him at the time. But it would have been nice for them to have made up before Brendan passed. To my knowledge, Naz didn’t see him towards the end. But he did say some nice things about him after he’d passed. It’s such a shame. Brendan was like a father to him. It was Riath who turned Naz’s head. They were money mad. He dropped Brendan and hired Oscar Suarez as his trainer. He then had a new gym built in Sheffield on a busy main road. But he hardly trained there. He then went to train with Manny Steward, but he wouldn’t listen to him. In the build up to the MAB fight, Manny gave Naz specific tapes of MAB to study. He wanted Naz to sit down and really take on board what he’d highlighted. Manny says that he left them with Naz and then went about his other business. But when he came back, he saw that the tapes hadn’t been touched. Manny says that he walked in and found Naz with his entourage watching one of MAB’s fights against Junior Jones from the mid 90’s instead. Manny shook his head and then walked up to Naz and told him that’s not the version of MAB that he’d be facing. If it gets to the point where you’re travelling to places like the Kronk where you’re disrespecting a guy like Manny Steward, you’re finished as an elite fighter.
It is upsetting isn’t it...I think he remembers how a horrible little man he was, don’t forget he beat him up too if I remember right. BI had the body bag on for Naz to punch, apparently Naz went to town on him and left him black and blue.
It's an excuse plain and simple. And there is no excuse for a professional boxing champion to not train properly. It's nobody else's fault other than Hamed's that he was lazy. I don't know why you have a problem with that.
It's in his book I think, it happened anyway, more than just his account, there was witnesses, I think it might've been Ryan Rhodes
So you haven't listened to the vid then ? Ingle his trainer and a bit of commonsense plus Manny Steward and your still refuting it ??? Of course it's his fault he didn't train, no ones arguing that, he's a grown man, the issue is he believed the hype an didn't train like a champ...Why can't you go with his trainers who have knowledge instead of your agenda ?? I mean I couldn't stand Naz, still can't, but the little **** abused training, it's not my opinion it's factual
Im not refuting what Ingle said. READ MY ****ING POST. Or don't. I agree with what you wrote 100%. But that does not justify any professional boxing champion to not train. Period. None. Not just scumbag Hamed. Any fighter. Do you believe it's ok for a professional boxing champion to not train? I don't. Do you believe it's ok for a fighter or his fans or both to use that as an excuse? I don't. Do you?
If it's the truth then yes, of course. What's wrong with saying an individual didn't reach their full potential ?? His fault yes, but it still exists
But the point I've been making all along is that its of the many excuses Hamed fans make for their hero. That's it. Nothing more.
