He doesn't need to be a huge puncher to stop Khan. Garcia isn't a huge puncher neither is Prescott.

Floyd punched hard enough to keep opponents honest and it wouldn't take much to get rid of Khan.

Also anyone trying to equate Pauli's punch power with Mayweather's doesn't watch boxing.

    No,
Maybe for a couple of rounds & khan would have his moments (especially if fighting old version of Mayweather)
But money would begin to time him , shut him down & frustrate him.

Serge I assume you are dreaming. These belts( Undisputed and Lineal title) never belonged to Britain until my friend the Raggamuffin Man Lloyd Honeyghan took them from another favourite of mine the great Don Curry the Lonestar Cobra from Forth Worth Texas In Atlantic City. Kell Brook God Bless him managed to steal the IBF version until another Texan Erroll Spence came to Sheffield and ripped it off Brook to take it back. Mayweather defeats Khan by legal homicide.

    Garcia is a big puncher.

Prescott had a good knockout percentage before he fought Khan. Plus Presscott fight was too early in Khan’s career. Khan’s camp had rushed him into a big fight too quick. Khan’s camp wanted him in a world title as quick as possible too early in his career. He was too young and inexperienced when he fought Prescott. Prescott had a good knockout percentage when he fought Khan.

Khan mostly has trouble against big punches.

Floyd knocked out Hatton because he broke him down round by round. It wasn’t necessarily because of Floyd’s power. Plus the Hatton knockout had a triple impact as Hatton ran into the Floyd’s check hook and then he had another impact by running and crashing his head into the corner

Of course it had to do with his punch power. You break a guy down round by round with power of your shots.

LOL at Khan having good footwork.

I don't understand why people think Khan, a fighter who has consistently fallen short at the top level (Garcia, Canelo and Crawford) could trouble Floyd.

Exactly it defies reason, logic and common sense.

I don’t think for one minute that Khan would have beaten Floyd. But a guy with that speed, size and confidence would have given Floyd issues when he was winding down.

Everybody said that Maidana was crude.

Some people were expecting a Gatti type performance due to Floyd’s supreme speed and skills.

If that fight hadn’t have happened and I’d have suggested that Maidana would have pushed him close and caused him problems, you would have laughed at me. You know you would have done.

Andre Berto was a non dangerous safe fight to bow out on.

Manny hardly attacked and pressured Floyd.

Khan would have attacked and pressured him a lot more.

I’m not saying he would have beaten him. But he’d have caused Floyd some issues at the end of his career.

I remember Floyd fans were saying that Floyd was going to KO Maidana to the body and stop Cotto on cuts w/ razor sharp overhand rights.

He was never going to choose an opponent that was even remotely dangerous to retire on.

Been said before on this thread, but Khan was ****. All he had was speed, timing beats speed, and Floyd would have been able to time him if we look at all the other boxers who have been able to
