What I've been saying for years has finally happened. Tyson Fury has become the richest, most famous boxer in the world, surpassing the likes of Canelo and Anthony Joshua. https://www.forbes.com/athletes/#677ca65a55ae Joshua accountants in hell right now.
Being pedantic but this is yearly earnings. I'd have thought (without looking) the likes of AJ, Canelo and definitely Paciou & Floyd have a higher net worth? I am also surprised his yearly earnings have been that much. All the best to him though, it will certainly make the AJ fight easier to negotiate.......if they are both happy with 50-50
He is still verifying his claim that there were 7 unoccupied seats at the Fury v Wilder 2 fight indicating that his views on the un popularity of Fury is correct. Last seen seething with rage outside BT HQ when they refused to give him the number of PPV buys.
Watch how suddenly the Forbes list, which our Tony spunked over everyday for a couple of years, becomes "inaccurate". I just find the whole thing funny. I honestly never thought about fighters pay until Eddie Hearn and more so Hearn's biggest fanboy Hayers drilled it down our throats daily. I regrettably got sucked into the madness but all points made by myself and others about Fury's potential inside and outside the ring have been vindicated and then some. It's amazing when you think about it though. AJ, the most promoted fighter in the world was undisputed biggest star in British boxing and perhaps second biggest in the world. 30 stone Tyson Fury decides he doesn't like it, gets off the couch and in two years surpasses AJ inside and outside the ring. No challenge too great for the Gypsy King.
Fury and wife Paris were also awarded 'heroes of humanity' award by the WBC for their daily free workouts during the lockdown. Helping thousands internationally with their physical and mental health.
Tony will be back stronger next week blaming Fury's wild boar diet for the coronavirus and exposing links between Fury and Dominic Cummings.
I know it's a little weird but I kind of miss Adamn or however he spelled it and, despite his sometimes over enthusiasm on certain subjects, Tony can be a good poster at times and I like him. He sometimes rightly got torn to shreds on here but I think he's good for the forum and Jurgen v Tony was always PPV worthy
Hayers is one of the best posters on here imo.i rarely disagree with him and I am straight down the middle on here.
Good to see Tyson FURY earning the highest amount pre- tax in the past 12 months. But in the boxing ring where it counts he needs to some legacy defining wins to add to wins over Wlad and Wilder
