    As my late friend Uncle Roger Mayweather of the Royal Boxing Mayweather family use to say “Speed don’t mean ****” “Boxing is all about skills”. It’s skills that pays the bills not speed. Khan might be fast but Floyd is quick and quicker than Khan as quickness is in the mind. Andre Dirrell is faster than Andre Ward whereas Ward is quicker than Dirrell. As for Khan’s chin how can you even mention it in reference to Gypsy that is disrespectful to your great heritage. I am might have to report you to your Uncle Big John Fury.

    Based on it being more of an interesting fight.

    What’s Ramadan got to do with anything?

    Floyd had already fought Maidana once at that point and people wanted a rematch.

    Floyd could have fought Khan instead of Maidana the first time or after he’d had the rematch.

    Doubt it as Khan never got anywhere near those figures despite boxing in the US because he lost a lot in the US including getting knocked out.

    Maidana lost to both Andreas Kotelnik and Devon Alexander. Khan schooled both of them.

    Also Khan had already beaten Maidana and won the main poll

    If Khan gets 600,000 PPV buys vs Canelo, Floyd a bigger PPV star than Canelo, so Khan would have got a million PPV buys easy in the US vs Mayweather

    I realise that. But how many PPV buys did Maidana get without Floyd?

    A Floyd-Khan fight may have been more appealing due to Khan’s speed and vulnerability.

    It could have been an exciting fight.

    Khan vs Floyd would get a million PPV buys easy in the US and another Million PPV buys in the UK. 2 Million total PPV buys in the UK and US

    Skills do pay the bills but the difference is speed bills are much more expensive. If fighter A can throw a punch faster than fighter B can avoid one then fighter B is getting hit regardless of which of them holds the edge in skills and that has been scientifically proven.

    Dre ducked Dirrell because he feared his speed.
