Sept for Horndog v Junior Tszyu? That's too far away. Junior Tszyu should forget about Horndog & fight someone else sooner. The problem now is that Foxtel are providing a big chunk of the money & they will want Horndog v Junior Tszyu. But they'll be happy for the focus to be on the footy for the immediate future. I think boxing had an opportunity to continue on unabated during Coronavirus but is so far down the pecking order as a sport in this country that it will be among the last to resume. Will be good to see the Moloney boys fighting next month. That's what Horndog & Junior Tszyu should be doing. Andrew is the one with the WBA title, btw.

Boxrec has only one Aust fight scheduled and Covid will give Fox the excuse to escape its commitment to NBS . * Already some of our best are chasing fight overseas with Liam Paro hoping to have fights in the UK and Daniel Lewis again fight on Top Rank cards.
I think your concerns are well founded, Juppity. Foxtel had made a huge commitment to the sport by agreeing to fund those monthly shows promoted by Dean Lonergan, but with Covid 19, that's all turned to custard. In saying that, I'm sure those with the best interests of the sport at heart (including people at Foxtel) will endeavour to get things going again even if it's not on quite the same scale as was originally envisaged. Daniel Lewis & Liam Paro are good fighters but I think others are perhaps better placed to capture the local sporting public's imagination. Horndog has in the past & the likes of Junior Tszyu & Justis Huni can do so in the future if they're good enough. Jai Opetaia & Liam Wilson are also worthy of headlining good quality domestic shows. On the international stage, we've got both Moloney brothers fighting later this month, Andrew in a WBA World title fight. Let's hopefully hold onto our WBA world title & take it from there.
I predict Horn will use the Covid as an excuse to duck Tszyu Jnr and will likely try to schedule a fight with Sam Soliman or Daniel Geale.
