Andrew Golota was terrible guy would get legitimately frustrated when his opponents would not go down.
Gerry Cooney didn't know how to properly clinch when in trouble.

Moreso Meldrick than Howard. Davis hid behind his daddy too much.

Bowe. Often didn't employ his advantages was to quick to trade, and never could figure Golota out. Also was prone to getting dirty when things didn't go his way as Buster Mathis Jr and Pierre Coetzer could say

Wilder and Taylor knew their limitations. That doesn't make them low ring IQ.

With Norris, I think it more the case of him being a hothead, than having a bad Ring IQ.

Yes. Stay at range and be patient. It's how he keeps things to his advantage.

If you look at his knockouts closely you will see him do some subtle foot positioning to set up angles, or hide the right with the jab or extended left.

He’s overly reliant on his power but I rate his ring IQ higher than you do.

Funny. I've been meeting to do a deep dive into his career. I remember watching the fights with Andries but not much else.

My favorite fighter of all time.
He went to war when he didnt have to. Had the length and boxing skills but would just let his warrior spirit get the best of him.

Totally agree. People say he couldn’t take a punch. He could, he just froze, dropped his hands and tried to stand up, rather than grab & hold or take a knee. He actually had a decent chin but no ring IQ.

How about Stanely Ketchel? He was a force but he didn't seem to be very smart fighter.
