I'd say Canelo but a lot of more casual fans have no idea who he is and they'd probably say Fury or Joshua if you were to ask them who the face of boxing is.
That is putting it mildly I think most fans have been put off supporting him. It was blatant with Floyd & its the same with Canelo Both are manufactured fighters.Neither was allowed to lose in Vegas
Its sad really Canelo can fight, he could be the face BUT The shindigs him , Oscar, the NSAC & Vegas boxing have done to ensure he never loses another fight have soured the fans. Even guys in the gym, Mexican fighters, STILL regard him as a coward over the way he blatantly ducked GGG . Then when he did fight him they robbed him twice. They agreed with me that Canelo could put things right by meeting GGG in a 100% fair fight in the Mecca of boxing MSG. We all know by experience GGG will never get a fair crack in that cess-pit Vegas

Lol - how am i a hater? Do think that the British media will ever let it go about his controversial statements made previously. Even if he beats AJ - which I feel that he will, they will hound him and actively push that narrative whenever Fury will be championed by people. Do you think those kinds of statements will fly in USA once SJW's or even mainstream media look into Tyson Fury's past? Not in this era mate I always repsected Fury for being a athlete who isn't afraid to be truthful and was laughed at by my mates when i told them Fury was gonna beat old man Wlad in Germany, but media friendly/fake philosopher AJ knows how to play the media game better then Fury. But AJ being mindful of how he presents himself to the media is exactly why he is the face of UK boxing, he presents himself very strategically and his sponsors keep him neutered enough to let him hold that place as face of boxing as long as he doesn't rock the boat with what he says.
aj doesn’t play the media better then Fury he is pushed on the masses by the corporate media machine whilst the common man with even the slightest intelligence still identifies more with Fury due to his real nature your post was well thought out and I retract my your a hater comment but I still disagree with your claim that Fury isn’t an exciting fighter I find his fights exciting and many agree with me and with his new kronk style he should be even more exciting in the future
I shot off quite quick on my original response and maybe should have used sometihng else instead of not exciting. I think Fury will be a little too controversial to become the face of boxing though. I had a conversation with a guy once who don't even watch boxing at all. But he was not only quick to point out his previous comments, but stated that he shouldn't be allowed to talk like that and its very offensive to this country to hold those kinds of views in todays society and that he wouldn't want his children to hear those sort of things coming from a professional athlete. Don't watch the sport but he judging Fury all the same. That sort of thing will hound him i feel.
I hear what you are saying but I don’t see those “controversial” comments holding him back time moves forward and the majority of people forget what happened before also he has the name and the charisma to be a global icon more so then anyone else on the scene there are people in the media who are building him up whereas 4/5 years ago they were tearing him down and Bob Arum has the connections to make Fury a media darling never forget Mike Tyson was the face of boxing whilst having the slur of a **** conviction over his head Fury’s “crime” pales in comparison
