It's pretty great. Took a crowd that didn't give a crap about either man and had them standing by the end of the second round. I actually tend to score it to Dorin, but I realize I'm in the minority in that regard.
Not a case of trying to find the most obscure, William. Just a question asking an honest response. For me, it's really obvious ones - Hearns v Duran, Holyfield v Tyson, Foreman v Norton and Ali. There has to be an emotional connection; memories of my childhood (Hearns), my era (Holyfield) and the ratification of some of the tales my dad told me about Foreman and Ali. Also helps if they're full of action. I get bored easily. That's why I never re-read my posts. Yours seems a strange choice of fights to watch over and over. Unless you're a real connoisseur, of course. But I'd expect someone with that much invested in the sport to know the Hiltons were Canadian. Hmmm. I think you're pulling people's plonkers a bit, here.
I see what you're saying, but the ones I put do fit. I love watching them and have done so many times.
There is no way at yr supposed age you have seen all these fights you say you have. Highlights? You would need to watch boxing 24/7 for yrs and yrs if you are truly only 13-17 like you claim. No way you watched all these whole fights. Timewise its just impossible at yr age. School. Girls. Job. Etc. No way!!!!!
I don't know... I mean, @roughdiamond and @George Crowcroft have made me question that view. The amount of fights those guys have already seen and are watching regularly is insane. Check out the scorecard thread if you don't believe it. The Internet generally and YouTube specifically has completely changed the game in that regard - if you're dedicated to it, you can see as many fights in two or three years as many of us pre-YouTubers have seen in total. Well, more than I've seen at least.
I don't really watch as many bouts anymore. I went through a period of just blasting through so many when younger. Now I only watch when I've got time or am interested (tbf we have plenty of time at the moment). I wouldn't be surprised if George surpassed how many I've watched some point soon, if he hasn't already.
Yeah, but I guess you already did a lot of that watching previously as you've said and you're still in your teens. It's just way more possible to watch a huge volume of fights in a relatively short space of time than it ever was before which to me is undoubtedly a good thing. Not everyone does it though so it's not trivial by any means.
#1 Ali vs Frazier FOTC #2 Ali vs Frazier The Thrilla#3 #3 Leonard vs Benitez (2 ATG's in their primes demonstrating elite skills) #4 Pryor vs Arguello #5 Leonard vs Hearns ( Two atg's in their primes 14 rds of skills and will) #6 Leonard vs Duran (Fight that demonstrated Leonard was a warrior/ Duran top 5 on the G.O.A.T List) #7 Hagler vs Mugabi ( The fight that broke Mugabi, but before he fell, gave Hagler pure hell) # 8 Frazier vs Ellis Frazier at his best, was bad news for Ellis. #9 Ali vs Foreman (They thought Ali would be killed, they forgot to tell him) #10 Ali vs Liston (Ali in his prime, scary. Liston couldn't touch Ali even though he was blind a few rds)

I find myself drawn time and again to some classic fights involving Thomas Hearns. Specifically, I watch the fights with Hagler, Cuevas and Duran. Often I'm too busy to watch a long fight, so these are perfect and bring back memories of my youth!
