Which then active heavyweight in the late 90's would have beaten the fading Tyson? I am not talking about the completely shot version in 2002 but more circa 98-2000.

    Other than Lewis and Holyfield.

IMO the fading Tyson loses to both Ibeabuchi and Tua. Perhaps Byrd could outslick him. I would also favour a young Vitali despite his inexperience.

Of course, i believe prime Tyson beats all of them (except maybe Holyfield), but i am talking the 98-2000 version here.

Both Klitschkos, Byrd,Tua,Ruiz and Golota if he had the confidence.

Holyfield would beat any version of Tyson. Lewis vs prime Tyson is 50/50.
Tua would beat 99 Tyson. Byrd could be a good fight.

Tyson was too good at slipping the jab and countering for Golota, he was a sitting duck for Mike.

We saw that fight. Tyson beat Golota easily. The result was changed to a NC due to Tyson's positive drug test. Tyson outside of the Holyfield fights cherry picked his way around the 1990's. The 1980's version was much better.

It would in around this time frame. Just for a few early rounds, Tyson would be so dangerous. But Tua s chin takes his best imo and Tyson fades down the stretch.

Golota went into the scared to death if he kept his cool he probably would have stopped Tyson that night.

When they actually fought in chosen time frame Tyson beat him easily. Kinda weird to pick him to beat Tyson in same time frame when they actually fought already

Maybe ten years earlier, but Tyson simply had nothing left at this point.
