Poll: did Joshua duck Wilder or the other way around?

This is a really weird situation for me. Similar to Joshua-Ruiz II and Wilder-Fury II, I'm not a fan of any of these guys. On an emotional level, I couldn't have given one **** who won. And here it is again! I'm just glad one batch of rabid fanboys is gonna be violently shut up.

Although I am looking forward to the fight. I hope this gets made smoothly.

 

Didn't AJ have Wilder banned from ringside in a few of his fights?

 

Wilder was part of the sky sports commentary team for the Joshua vs Klitschko fight.

I think there was a rumour he was banned from climbing in the ring after the Parker fight though, Although, he was set to be part of the commentary team there too for sky sports and I think that was the excuse given for him not taking that up.... something like that.

 

Both didn't want it and both still got knocked out by other fighter's lol

 

Joshua ducked Wilder. It was clear as day. He knew that chin of his was in serious danger.

I bet he wishes he'd ducked Fury now. Hopefully Fury or Usyk retire him in the next few years.

 

I don't think either side really wanted it or it would have happened.

For example, if it was all about legacy, all about the belts, then you think further than the actual fight, you would be confident you was going to win and you'd know after you have won the world is yours.

So arguing about 5% of the pot makes zero sense to me, none whatsoever, you're being paid millions, you are in the biggest fight to be made and you can achieve your dream.

The whole purpose of your career was for that moment, that achievement, and you're going to say "No" over a few percent either way.


If it was me, I would have snapped off an arm for a deal to get my hands on all the belts, so long as it was fair, made sense, I wouldn't have argued for more more more, it's short sighted, it's greedy and in my opinion it's an excuse to hide behind and I think AJ and Wilder both made excuses.

 

Yet AJ has proven he has a much better chin than Beyoncé and has never been afraid to fight top punchers unlike Beyoncé.

Wilder recently admitted turning down more money from Joshua to fight Fury so now we know a definite answer to this question. Back then Wilder and his team though were saying Joshua never sent any real offers and it was all a smoke screen.
