Floyd never lost on paper. But in actual boxing match he lost to castillo and maidana on their first meeting. Also his fight with oscar de la hoya and pacman were very closed that it is reasonable to argue that it can go either way.
Do you think Floyd could still have won if he fought in Maidana's and Castillo's homecourt or in Pacquiao's country? 99.9% Floyd could have lost those fights.

Honestly have to agree with a lot of that like I've always said not a MW fan at all.. would of loved seeing him hit the deck every time but as boring as his style was to watch. He did have defence down to an art form slipped shots well and could counter accurately.

But yeah would of been nice to see him going forwards more course it would. Wasn't his style did have good ring iq tho. Sometimes even if you don't like a fighter you have to acknowledge there skill set.

Feel a bit sick sticking up for him twice now

Im no pbf nuthugger, he definitely had a few close ones that could have gone the other way, but I wouldnt call them highway robberies. I agree the **** before the pac fight rubbed me the wrong way and any other fighter would've been reprimanded.

However close Maidana 1 and Castillo 1 were he won those fights. Giving him a close fight which rarely ever happened does not make these guys the victors. The fights against Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya were not close at all even a blind knows that.

How was his "Training steps" with McGregor allowed to count on his boxing record?
Desperation....no Floyd was always top 6 but never the best ever...

When you claim that Mayweather getting the nod on a very close decision "rarely ever happened" you lose every little bit of credibility you ever had ROFLMAO. Punk Mayweather lost his ass to Castillo & to Maidana, could very easily be lost TWICE to Castillo. Kenny Bayless won fight 2 against Maidana for him. From now on I'll just regard you as a troll & not a boxing fan I'll just answer you when I need a laugh You Maytrolls are the comedians of the forum

My "hero" as you call him has been officially cleared of all charges against him. Nothing harmful to his opponent was EVER found in his wrap. But 750 ml of saline drip in your own home 24 hours before your world title run around it broke THREE of the NSAC's own rules to boot.

He was trying to cheat from the start.

"In early March, USADA presented the Pacquiao camp with a contract that allowed the testing agency to grant a retroactive therapeutic use exemption (TUE) to either fighter in the event that the fighter tested positive for a prohibited drug. That retroactive exemption could have been granted without notifying the Nevada State Athletic Commission or the opposing fighter’s camp.

Team Pacquiao thought that was outrageous and an opportunity for Mayweather to game the system. Pacquiao refused to sign the contract."

I've always wondered how Floyd sold so many PPVs. My answer has always been, it was more the spectacle of the press conferences and maybe the "0" factor. Not hating here, but I never heard anyone talk about "yo, did you see that Floyd fight, wow, that was exciting". At most it was like "yeah, good fight, good performance". There was no excitement at all. Usually, when it was exciting, it was the other guy making it so. This is mainly when he became a big star at welter.

Kudos to him for selling so many PPVs. I don't think he was totally boring but he wasn't particularly exciting. I never paid for his PPVs. I need excitement in my PPVs.

Void Gayfeather's reputation isnt improving now his career is over that is for sure.

The strategy of cherry picking fighers you are only certain of beating, then fighting with extremely negative tactics isnt going to see your legacy grow. Under scrutiny the deck of cards starts to collapse.
