BJS - Retiring

His application got holded up.

 

All the teachers I know without exception couldn’t make it in their chosen career so ended up teaching.

 

I feel a bit mean but reading "holded" cracked me up, the bloke can be so dumb

 

I don’t think that’s true. Most I know chose teaching as their career.

 

I find teachers that l know exactly the same.
The only exception is a guy who openly admits to not liking kids & got into the profession purely for the long holidays !

 

I’ve just checked again and it is still true. I know six teachers well and all of them ended up teaching when they couldn’t get into another job. Bizarre that you would think to know my close circle of friends better than I do. Real strange.

I’m not questioning his snooker ability. He’s one of the best ever.
More his attitude at times & attention seeking. Each to their own though
