That's the thing that makes Fury exciting, on his game he is good, sometimes very good. But it will depend on how his mental health side is holding up, let's be fair, this Lockdown is a test for most of us, so I guess no easier for the poor sods afflicted with this, which unfortunately Tyson is...
Agreed. Fury ate away until he got to 400 lbs when he had poor mental health. Lets hope he doesn't go back to that dark place
Right now I favor Fury slightly, because I think AJ still hasn't 100 percent regained his confidence after the Ruiz fights.
It’ll interesting to see how this fight plays out. Many seem to think that Fury is now some come forward monster. Personally I look at it as the exception, not the rule. The blueprint to do this to Wilder was laid out long before Fury got in there with him. The guy is relatively easy to put on the back foot as many have shown in the past, but given that Fury is elite he was able to stamp the punctuation mark on that approach. Many are now seeing Joshua in the same light, viewing him as a back foot fighter. The same rule applies for me; it’s the exception, not the rule. I see Joshua as a much more refined fighter than Wilder, with an infinitely better Mid to close range game. Joshua’s also a much better combination puncher than Wilder. My point? I don’t see Fury pushing Joshua as much, and I certainly don’t see him engaging mid to close range at will. I think Fury takes it on points, fighting a cautious fight after a couple of heated exchanges.
Fury on points. AJ is a miles better fighter than Wilder. TF just needs to use his awkwardness and length to outbox AJ at range. Joshua doesn't have the slickest footwork and Fury is far better than him in that department. If TF thinks he will bull through AJ, he might just get knocked out.
TBH I think Fury will get into Joshua's head & its not hard to see how..When he was leading up to the Breazedale fight Joshua was really tetchy that Breazedale tried to disrespect him at any point, we all know Fury will but I think Fury will also play rough in the clinches. Joshua will not like it at all, plus Fury will humiliate him ...I think Joshua might lose it & then get knocked out! Or he will go into a shell & be a bit like Vlad & become like a rabbit in the headlights as did Wilder & not be able to figure it all out... Maybe Joshua should watch the Fury / Wallin fight & take a leaf from Otto's book ?
Agree At the very least Fury will win a decision but I would not be surprised to see Fury aggressively put Joshua down and The ref has to stop it
AJ has the power to K.O. Fury. Fury was sent to the floor by Wilder so why can't AJ do the same? He has a puncher chance IMO.
Fury is going to do to AJ what he should have done to Wlad first time around Which is get on top of him and make him gas out then bury him. Doesn't have the stamina to last.
An old Wlad, let me remind you he was stopped by Ruiz. Nobody is a soft puncher in the heavyweight division. Can't fight physics son. More mass = more force.
