The state of this thread from both sides is quite frankly shocking. Fury would beat Whyte, AJ’s resume is hardly garbage.
I may not agree with Fury's politics, defending the European traitor and war criminal Churchill (the alcoholic who initiated the civilian bombings, wanted to use bio weapons on Germans and who ultimately helped destroy Britain) ... but Fury denying Whyte a money fight is absolutely hilarious. Whyte truly is a ''one hit wonder'', the headbutt KD giving him victory over Parker, the only meaningful result on paper. The longer Whyte is denied the funnier it is. He just fought Wach. He ducked Pulev for the eliminator. He deserves jack ****. Let's clear up why Fury ''ducked'' everyone. He went into a psycho depression for Wlad II, the nihilistic pressers and suicide comments at the table talk were clearly warning signs in hindsight, as was letting Helenius punch him in the head over and over in training camp before headbutting the ring posts. His team pulled him out, as most would. Fury didn't fight Povetkin because he remembered having a photo with him and decided he was a midget. Fair enough. Fury didn't fight Parker because he likes him. Parker and his coach think Fury is the best HW on the planet, so not sure they believe they can win that fight anyway. Fury didn't fight Ruiz because before the AJ fight Ruiz was just the fat guy who lost to Parker for the title Fury released and had no meaningful wins at all. Fury just fought Wilder twice when he didn't have to. He fought him for far less money than AJ would have and in less ideal circumstances. The second Wilder fight, after almost being KO'd the first time, showed clearly Fury isn't a ducker and that the narrative of ducking Wlad or anyone doesn't add up. Fury was in far less trouble in the Wlad fight, why would he duck him but then rematch Wilder who almost KO'd him? Fury was underdog in both Wilder fights, let's not forget that, almost everybody thought he was getting KO'd the first time and many were convinced it would happen the second time.
If Fury is a fraudster, what does that make Wilder, who got dropped like 5 times against the "fraudster" How is Fury a duck when he just finished one of the most feared men in the division, and recently agreed to fight the champ AJ?
I agree that Fury ducked the Klitschko rematch. He barely got a win over a mummified version of Wlad, he should have stepped up and done what he was supposed to do - rematch him, which he didn't. That said, Fury fought Wilder when he was basically straight off the fat farm and had looked abysmal against Pianeta. It was Wilder who was picking that cherry, not Fury. And Fury clowned Wilder for 8-9 rounds straight while looking in bad shape himself. That was a fight I expected Fury to lose based on conditioning, yet he came through and won it. (Draw was bs.) Wilder will need 10 "Alabama slammas" at this point to get a win over TF.
Fury is a ducking fraud? Didn't he just sign a 2 fight deal to fight Joshua, or did I miss something?
