What is your dream heavyweight match-up that never happened? You can choose fighters from any era, they don't have to have been active at the same time.
My choice is Ali v Tyson.

    Frazier-Holyfield
    Cooper-Patterson
    Chuvalo-Brewster

All 3 would be insane wars.

I think the Cooper v Patterson fight would go something like this.

Louis vs Holyfield would have to rate pretty high up there for me
Frazier vs Marciano would be a war to end all wars
Ali vs Tyson is a fascinating stylistic matchup but I think the buildup would be special, Ali waging psychological warfare before throwing a single punch
Foreman vs Liston with Big George from the Lyle fight and Liston from Patterson 1 could end up setting off some fireworks
Sullivan vs Jackson with both at their best could settle a lot of questions
Byrd vs. Young might not be an all action shootout, but it'd sure be an interesting matchup of two standout slicksters
Klitschko vs....Klitschko. Need I say more?

It's a pretty easy answer in my book.

I think 87-88 Tyson vs 73-74 Foreman is THE heavyweight matchup for all time.

Prime Larry Holmes vs. Prime Mike Tyson (Holmes TKO in 10)

Prime Larry Holmes vs George Foreman (same as above)

" " " " vs Joe Frazier (FOTC Frazier SD if it goes 12 but either TKO or UD in 15)

60s Ali vs Iron Mike (Ali by 9th round TKO)

Salvador Sanchez moves up and kicks the **** out of Mayweather Jr. in 11

Aaron Prior catches Mayweather Jr. in 10, TKO. Mayweather overwhelmed.

Joe Louis vs 60s Ali (Ali gets a really tough fight but ends up with a SD)

Norton vs. Frazier (Frazier by 8th round KO, but Norton would have not gone without a killer fight)

70s Foreman vs. Tyson (Foreman by 2nd round TKO)

90s Foreman vs Tyson (Tyson by UD, despite getting floored)

1992 Lewis vs. 1992 Bowe (Bowe by 5th round KO)

1998 Lewis vs 1992 Bowe (Great fight, Lewis wins by a really tough SD. Both men get knocked down)

    " " " vs 1997 Bowe (Lewis by 4 round TKO)

Fury vs Prime Wlad Klitschko (Wlad by TKO in 11)

    And plenty others.

Sure their are loads, all the above and more, BUT for me if I had to choose only 1 it would be Frazier v Marciano, the immovable object, colliding with the irresistible force, who wins ? we will nether know....
