    Martin Rogan maybe?
Although not hugely successful, did well enough with the limited time he spent in the sport

Hasn't this topic been done to death already?

Martinez, BHOP, Rahman are obvious answers.

Foreman is the one that stands out for me. Had his first amateur fight on Jan 26th 1967, he won gold at the Olympics on October 26th 1968, exactly 1 year and 9 months later, mind blowing!

He won the WBA (regular). You can't seriously call yourself a world champion with that. The WBA (super) is the WBA's world championship belt.

Regardless, he would've been my pick. He done very well and will make a living from boxing for the next few years.
