I would happily see this fight, but would prefer Callum try to unify at smw with benavidez and bjs got back to mw where I think he looks better.

I honestly don't care about all that nonsense, it's all smoke and mirrors.

The fight just does nowt for me, don't get why people think it should. 1 is a boring lazy and unprofessional boxer who probably should be closer to 154 than 168 if he had ever trained properley and the other is a stiff, very limited weight bully. I'm not a fan of either fighter and don't give 2 shits if they have a Twitter followers, have beef or whatever. I'm not a 15 year old boy.

As I said before I would watch if i was home or it as on in the pub, probably the next day if anything interesting happened but i wouldn't break an appointment to watch.

Would love to see it. Both fighters have a lot of questions to answer and this would be perfect.

Part of the hold up will be the Covid-related delay to Canelo fighting Saunders. Hearn signed Saunders for that fight alone lets be honest.

Hearn has no say who Canelo fights. Has that fight ever been confirmed?

Yeh you don't have to like it of course, just wasn't a great comparison though really theyre top fighters in their division not mediocre to poor. Hard to please imo!!

"I'm not a fan of either fighter and don't give 2 ****s if they have a Twitter followers, have beef or whatever. I'm not a 15 year old boy." - Lots of people do though its even being referenced here.

Hearn said fight needs to be able to pay Saunders and Smith a big 7 figure sum each. If thats case fight wont happen anytime soon as it wont generate that. Both fighters need to get their heads out of the clouds if they think they should get paid that kind of money for the fight at this stage. If they dont fight each other next would like to see a wee competition, Smith v Ryder and Saunders v Eubank, with winners fighting each other and losers fighting each other. If those fights were chief support to different big ppv events it would build up intetest in the final. Then winners could fight in final and losers fight each other on same card. Would be enough interest for it to then be a ppv.

Not really, i just don't think it's a very good fight. The football comparison still stands, maybe it should be more Everton against Leicester but you are taking it too literally.

And there is the problem with boxing in general. Average fighters getting 1 of the many belts demanding ATG type money.

I think Eddie is regretting signing BJS , he doesn’t really bring much to the table apart from wanting huge purses which he doesn’t really deserve!

They couldn't sell this fight for the money Smith and Saunders think they're worth.
