Manny Pac (Marg fight) vs Canelo at 154?

There's a reason Mayweather got supremely shook up upon watching Pac v Cotto. During those years Pac was a legitimate freak of nature, like prime RJJ levels.

Canelo is a plodder , with many gift decisions. Prime Pac would rip through , round after round.

 

Pac loses to elite counter punchers.

Canelo would undoubtedly land his feint to the body over hand right on Canelo just like JMM did in round three of their fourth fight except Pac wouldn't be able to get up.

 

JMM is one of the greatest counterpunchers to ever lace them up. He also took enough steroids to power the entire Dominican baseball team and was punching harder that night than drained Clenelo at 154.

Why you still ducking my question?

 

Canelo will be just as great, if not possibly greater than JMM, and at the very least hovering just under JMM.

Regardless, to beat Pac you don't need to be great. Oscar Larios almost KTFO Pac when Pac was an established fighter in his prime. Canelo would have finished him.

 

Clenbuterol is primarily a counterpuncher so while Manny would give him fits there is always the chance he catches Manny or more likely Manny jumps into something and gets knocked out.

 

At the point of a proposed matchup, Clenelo was draining himself at 154 and wasn't as developed as the fighter he is today. Pac KOs the Clenelo that Floyd fought and has a chance of KOing the Clenelo before his 5 or 6 CleneloWeight fights.

So why didn't Clenelo fight Beterbiev or Bivol? He picked shot Kovalev who had been KO'd by Ward and Eleider and almost by KO'd by a prospect. Not to mention Clenelo imposed a crippling rehydration clause.

 

Ironic ain't it, how he's allowed but others aren't.

 

If JMM was so special why did he repeatedly refuse to fight Pac again?? Because he had one lucky win in FIVE attempts & knew he couldnt do it again. Pac ruled JMM just like GGG ruled El Pollo Canelo

 

Nah, c'mon. Pac didn't rule JMM. JMM was a stylistic nightmare for him and then he was roided to the gills in III and IV.

 

Id choose canelo due to the counters and accuracy .. However pacs extreme pressure could make canelo fight harder and that would make canelo gas quicker . id pick canelo

 

Clenelo was being lit up and looked foolish against Khan. Pac would have made those punches count.

 

Khan was long and made it to the 6th round with speed and on the defensive end. Going directly at those counters is deadly unless you are ggg himself with that chin

 

Khan doesn't use his height or length. He was confusing and flustering Clenelo on speed alone.
