Exactly this. I work in numerous gyms and none are close to opening even in a reduced capacity. All the meetings I’ve been involved with are not just about reopening but how we will cope with the second peak and consequent second period of lockdown.
Cant wait for this 50/50 match up C'mon ,no body made a joke as of yet about social distancing not being an issue at a Warren show due to attendance? Ill be watching on TV,as its too risky in too many ways to be either buying or attending as it currently stands
Badly want to purchase tickets for this scrap but I'm not 100% if I should with regards to the virus.
This isn't meant as a dig, but if you're scared of catching the virus, then isn't it an easy decision for you to stay away from large gatherings? If you're trying hard not to catch it, then surely attending an event such as this would be a clear no-no, no?
There is zero chance the fight goes ahead on this date without the venue capacity being cut down by at least 50%.
It's a bit of a shot in the dark announcing this one but it's a great fight for the fans. Genuine 50/50 and action guaranteed. I really hope it can happen in some capacity. Joyce doesn't have much time to lose.
As we all know Joyce is going to be a big step for him in standard, Joyce might be a bit slow but when he lands carries plenty of power and does have better upper body movement then he gets credit for. Will be interesting to see how dubois takes big shots from a heavy puncher and his chins not really been tested yet. Think it's will answer loads of questions great match up
I don't see this but it is a great fight and it is good to have a real fight where opinion is divided. Dubois is not tested so we will find out a lot here. Hopefully covid is kept at bay to allow the events planned for later this year.
Joyce is so slow and has no head movement. There’s a danger Dubois blows him out early doors if he’s the real deal.
You’d get your money back in that case but if you are travelling in from anywhere you might struggle to get that money. I’m not sure tickets would sell that well anyway for this, I think there’s a strong likelihood it gets moved again in the weeks leading up to it.
I still think this one won't come off. Frank will protect his pet Frankenstein against the unstoppable juggernaut!
Really hope the fight takes plsce when scheduled, but i have serious doubts. I think its being used as a PR stunt and will be pushed back or eventuslly cancelled. Hope i am wrong.
If a vaccine is made and ready it might go ahead on this date. That looks unlikely right now though. Whyte v povetkin is probably around the same purses if not more yet is taking place with no fans....
Let's be honest know one really knows sh#t till this fight happens uncharted waters and that. Got a bit of a gut feeling dubois might just pull it off tho. Read in this thread apparently Joyce has no movement watch him fight uysk in the Olympics. Not the best mover but if usyk is struggling to land speaks for itself
