This is a response to people that stated Jones would have toyed with Collins (which I disagree with) and someone that said Hagler wa protected from Collins when his team wouldn`t let him spar with Collins, Hagler would have out-jabbed Collins convincingly, how would Steve have fared against the guys that fought these two legends? ( not Roy`s 175 foes)

He loses to 85% of them. He loses to Hamsho 2xs, Obel 2xs Duran, Sibson, Scypion, Hearns and Mugabi. Roldan wins. He beats 81 Antuofermo and Lee. 79 Antuofermo kicks his ass.

A prime Steve Collins lost fair and square to an ancient Mike McCallum. He also lost to Reggie Johnson and Sumbu Kalambay. And, he would have lost much worse to a prime Roy Jones or Hagler. His boasting about a supposed sparring session with Hagler is irrelevant. The only time chronologically that Hagler could have even considered sharing a ring with Collins is when he was about to retire. They are more than a decade apart in age and fought in different eras. Collins' wins over the older versions of Eubank and Benn flatter him. Both Eubank and Benn looked woeful at the time they fought Collins. Prime vs prime, Collins lost every fight against the top flight boxers he fought.

Its like Camacho ( who was great earlier at 130) bragging about beating Duran & Leonard. Or Paz bragging about it.

The Johnson fight could easily have gone the other way. Collins was a 16 fight novice going in against a prime McCallum and had him running away in the later rounds. He is a tough fight for anyone. Hearns always struggled against guys who were stronger than him.

BTW lmao at Benn and Eubank. Two guys who were cowards and wouldn't have dared to fight the three guys you mentioned.

What exactly do you think Collins would have done to Roy? Besides get countered to death.

Eubank dropped Collins and Hearns was more deadly than Sr, McCallum was at his peak at 154, no way could Collins have stopped Jackson in two rounds.

Bit harsh on Benn because he took on g-man when he was considered a killer.

Jones would have shut out Collins. The speed difference was immense. Hopkins and Toney could barely land against Jones. They were a notch or two above Collins. Hagler probably would have stopped him. Even the 1987 version of Hagler. I will not even bother with how Collins would do with their opponents because contrary to your "logic" it wouldnt have any bearing on how Collins would do against Hagler or Jones.

    Benn would have fought anybody.

Benn fought Gerald and he wanted to fight Roy.

Eubank was content to defend his WBO belt, but the Watson fight changed him.

    Don’t call them cowards.

Straight away, I’m thinking of a Collins vs Castro fight at MW.

I’d have loved to have seen that. And Jorge Castro would probably have fought Collins just a couple of weeks after his previous fight.

Jones would have massacred Collins inside of 8 rounds EASILY.
Reggie Johnson had Collins ready to go TWICE during their bout but Reggie played it safe and backed off.
I have no idea what fight people were watching-Johnson won that fight.
An ancient Kalambay outboxed Steve and even stood in front of Collins as Sumbu at that time no longer had the legs like he once did.
MCcallum outboxed Steve and then coasted to a decision as all Steve did was throw wild punches.
    That fight wasnt even close.
Did Steve embarrass himself in any of those bouts? No he gave a 100% and it showed. People respected him.
But to sit here years latter and say those bouts could have gone either way is just ridiculous.
Jones would have taken his head off and Steve wouldnt have even come close to beating Jones.
Eubank had Steve ready to go and backed off remember?

Can you imagine Cyclone repeatedly landing that left hook on Collins? I cringe at thinking about that.
And Watts would have had a field day with Collins.
And I just picture Steve rushing right at Hearns and I see that Hearns righthand leveling Collins.
Or that Hearns jab just making a mess out of Collins.

Eubank was more of a coward than Benn, vastly overrated too.
