I absolutely HATE hypotheticals with Andre Dirrell. He was so outstandingly gifted, talented, and athletic, yet mentally and emotionally, he was equally flawed so he was never really able to showcase any of it. With Dirrell, on his night in his finest form, is an absolute nightmare for almost anyone, but good luck guessing which night that would be. Bute UD. He was just way more consistent and he was mentally strong and tough enough to show up most nights in top form. If somehow this were to turn out to be Dirrell's night however, Bute gets pieced up and slept - ****ing lazer show.
Dirrell was just too mentally unreliable. I can see him getting discouraged from Bute's power and left and fighting a defensive fight and getting outpointed.
