Wilders team are now claiming Fury had loaded gloves, going as far to say there was a blunt object inside which caused a 'dent' to Wilders' temple. This follows on from the 'wrist punching' theory from the first fight where he was accused of wearing his gloves loosely so he could punch outside the padded area (explained and backed by Steve Cunningham in the video below). As Tyson said, hand wrapping is supervised and gloves are inspected before being put on so what are the point of the allegations from so called fellow professionals and what exactly are they hoping to achieve?

Aren’t the Paffen gloves supposed to give more support instead of being puncher’s gloves?

    Its just plain embarrassing
I would imagine that most people have lost even the slightest shred of respect for him
It takes guts to get in a ring I will give him that but beyond that he is a joke
The third match is pointless. He should move aside and lets get on with the division tear-up
He should have taken his beating, gone back regrouped and fought someone like Ruiz or Hunter even

Haven't seen that Cunningham video before and he does make decent points to be fair.

I'm not really sure what Cunningham's motives are but he is clearly still bitter about what happened in his fight with Fury. (he put a complaint into the New York athletic commission stating illegal tactics were used). He is really pushing this slip glove narrative now.

This theory was also tested by pro's Mayweather's gym and unanimously voted as nonsense/no advantage.

I hadn't seen that video either. They seen to just laugh it off. They are all neutral too, if not would be more on wilders side.

The Cunningham knock out was technically a foul from Fury so I’m not surprised that he feels aggrieved and is getting involved in this.

It's hilarious and I hope they never stop whinging.

I can't wait to hear the next line of bull**** explaining how we didn't watch Wilder get annihilated.

Can they put it to song? Maybe do a musical? I'm thinking full orchestra, broadway chorus, the works. Mentalists.

I mean he’s cheated before so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that he’s cheated again.

The "loose floppy glove" theory is hilarious.
Like hitting someone with an empty glove is more effective than using your knuckle ...... :jaja-no:

So now they are trying to say he slipped a horseshoe in the end ??

I love Team Wilder. It's almost 5 months on and they still dumb as ****.
Give 'em 100 years they still wouldn't figure out what a semi-plausible excuse is supposed to sound like.

Can’t see any benefit of a floppy glove. dress and gloves are the excuses, I don’t know why he doesn’t just blame trump, that would be more believable

Steve Cunningham was bitter before he faced Tyson Fury and even more bitter afterwards, and ever since. He not only took a hiding in the bout, but was on the end of one of Tyson '2 Fast' Fury's best ever press conferences.

Steve Cunningham is still bitter in this, at 2:15, saying "I put Tyson down in his last fight so..." We know you did, Steve. So did Neven Pajkić. He always needs to get that in there. His pride is clearly still hurt 7 years on from that bout. Steve, you played your part in what was one of the most memorable nights in Tyson Fury's career. Surely that's enough to remain dignified.

I really hope there isn’t a third fight so Deontay wilder can save face with all these bull**** excuses. Maybe if he spent his career actually facing decent opponents, he wouldn’t have been embarrassed so bad.
