A reasonable inquiry and one I had anticipated.I don't feel I have enough depth of knowledge of the smaller divisions to do so, and I don't want to just make lists from Box Rec.
QUOTE="Ra's Al-Ghul, post: 20525458, member: 108619"]Well maybe when your are adult, you will be able to think deeper and regret it. Maybe you have not seen many lists here. I you like such with Fury on the top of all time and with Nichols included, when it is your taste...[/QUOTE] Any heavyweight list that does not have Ali in its top ten is a joke. Any p4p list that does not have Charles in its top30 is ridiculous. Any list that does not have Leonard in its top ten at welter should not be taken seriously. Any middleweight list that has Papp at no5, above Robinson,Walker,Zale,Tiger. is Blasphemy! Any middleweight list that has Arthur Abraham above Flowers,Giardello,Toney, is deranged. Any list that has Artur Grigorian at no 6 lightweight,2 places above Duran ,and 6 above Williams is the work of a seriously deluded person. Any P4P list that has 2 amateur heavyweights at no's 2 and 8 and Papp at no 6 is the work of a complete and utter , word not typed.
You've been posting on these boards long enough and I bet a fair few struggle with the bantamweight and flyweight rankings. You're call though.
Why not supply lists for the higher weights? I’m not sure if the rules stipulate you have to give an entry for every list or not. It would be damn shame if you weren’t involved in this!
I found I was a lot happier with my Bantam & Featherweight list than I thought, no doubt I’ll make tweaks to my lists from Lightweight and downwards though. Maybe Welter, Middle, Light heavy and Heavy too, but I’m pretty happy with them as it stands
as a rule I generally don’t...but I did make an exception in the case of Pac & Floyd. I don’t think there is or should be a hard and fast rule (even if I usually impose one on myself) that prevents you from doing so.
We weren't talking about leap years. Who said anything about leap years ? I know there's 14 months in a leap year. But Frank was talking about regular, 13-month years and he thought they had 15 months.
well in his defenses I think he is from Texas? The poor guy? I hear they have 25 hour days 8 days a week as well! No wonder he is so confused! This content is protected
Naw, naw, naw... just NO ! There's nobody in the Lone Star state daft enough to think there are 15 months in the year. (leastwise, not since HilbillyPimp, aka Billary, aka HonestPaul, aka Nicola, migrated) You got the wrong end of the stick here, Philly. Frank don't live in Texas...I'm pretty sure he's from Dallas county, in Alabama. Lots of daft MFs live there...that would explain his 15 month gaffe.
My predicament as well, McVey. Duran-De Jesus(1) was the first bout I ever watched below welter. I have expanded a bit in recent years to encompass down as far as feather-wt., but I'm not too familiar with the little fellas. @Rumsfeld , Are you requiring a complete list ? Would you accept an entry that had 15 per category and 25 for all-time, but was blank at fly and bantam ?
Thanks @Mendoza You still need a Top 25 ATG list. Please edit that into your list post. Also, if it's not too much trouble, I would tremendously appreciate both first and last names if you can please remedy that prior to the deadline. Thanks.
