I can't tell if your being funny or are just too old to remember who my favourite fighter is. :sisi1

Ezzard Charley sounds like a lovely chap, but plagiarising the LHW GOAT shan't go unpunished.

I thought your favourite fighter was Callum Johnson?

I reserve the right to add or delete any letters of my choosing from a fighter's name. I've called him Ezzard Charley for years and I will continue to do so for many more because that's what I do.

Callum isn't even my favourite Johnson.

Nah, the man in my avatar is my favourite fighter. Always has been. #2 is Pops and after that it's a three-way tie between Callum, Julio Cesar Gonzalez and Saad Muhammad. Callum is my favourite current fighter, though.

To be fair, I pronounce any fighters name how I want. Even if I know the proper pronunciation, I'll still say it my way, so I guess we're even.

Mine neither. Glen Johnson is my favourite Johnson (after my own of course) for sparking out Roid cold with a love tap

Julio Cesar Gonzalez was a fun fighter to watch and a tough SOB to boot, I think he would've sparked out Roid too had the later not been on his roids.

I always refer to Jeff Mayweather as Jeffrey Mayweather because I find the name Jeffrey very amusing for some reason.

I love Glen too. And the Jeffrey.

Gonzalez was a bad mutha****er, his fights with Letterlough, Michalczewski and Glen are wicked.

Yes, but swarmers tend to be an antidote to this kind of fighting. You can;t slip 100 punches in a round, when the are all thrown with power, from a big puncher...

Yeah Marciano's style was simple but it worked well to beat all of his opponents. It wasn't his fault that there were not many elite fighters during his era.

    Totally! ...

Btw, how’d those fights turn out? My VCR ate the tapes before I could watch the ending

And yet the people who fought him talked about his defensive wizardry.

Go figure. Real fighters, ATGs, even, talk about how hard he was to hit, and some internet guy talking out of his ass disagrees.

I agree, but RJJ was something that Marciano never saw in his lifetime.
