You think he walks on water I think he's just a very talented cheating coward there lies the difference
If any other boxer had done what Floyd did as regards the IV gate scandal you'd have been all over him & the NSAC for vainly trying to cover his ass BUT It was Floyd so you just continue not to face to face the fact he CHEATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & the NSAC refused to condemn him because he made them too much $$$$$$$$$$ Why dont you just be a man & admit that fight should have been made a N/C & Floyd be banned for a long while ? After all Antonio Margarito was banned for over 2 years & his good name & career tarnished & all they could prove that he SWEATS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're a fan of Antonio Margarito. You're the last person who should be talking about anyone cheating.

    Floyd >>>>>>> Roy.

You'd never see Floyd out cold on a regular basis.

As for the question Jones Jr has way more talented than Mayweather for my money. We've never seen anyone else do the things he did in the ring. But because of his talent he took short cuts in the ring, which he paid for when he got old. Still definitely the best lead left hook of all time. The best counter puncher of all time. Maybe the best defensive shot slipping of all time. The best feinter of all time. Probably the best lead right hand of all time.

IMO no one comes close to the ability Jones Jr showed in the boxing ring.

Mayweather was fun to watch up until say the DLH fight. After that for the most point he spoiled his way to victory. I disagree that Mayweather was more talented than Jones Jr. The type of He's a better stategist but in terms of pure talent I'd actually put him below Judah. People forget how talented Judah looked when he came on the scene. Obviously he out smarted and out toughed Judah.

Jones Jr was rightful Olympic Champ at 156lbs and at that weight beat all the best future SMW champs around at that time like Frankie Liles. He'd have every advantage over Mayweather at 154 bar experience down the stretch.

If he was good enough to be a champ at that weight it wouldn't have taken him 4 years to fight for a belt.

That's like saying 'If Ray Robinson could of won a world title earlier he would have'. No one with a belt wanted any part of Jones Jr because he was making a fool out of everyone and destroying them in a few rounds. You have to work your way up and get ranked in boxing to get a title shot.

No it isn't, Robinson was beating up high ranked LW and WW fighters.

In 1989 as a LMW Jones Jr was beating up nobody.

It flashes "Middleweight bout" on the screen but both weighed in at or below the Jr. Middle limit.

He'd beaten up all the best amateurs in the world and around that time was toying with Lindel Holmes and Ray Leonard in sparring. Some boxers are elite from their first fights, Jones Jr was one of those.

Look at eh level of the fighter he faced though. Look how dominant others looked against the same man.

    It's no indication whatsoever.
