Dave Allen ducking Hughie Fury, who does he think he'll get a better pay day to get battered by again or will he continue to fight journeyman for way more than he should be getting paid

Probably a good thing as this fight would do nothing for Hughie. He may as well start practising on a punching bag. Allen will probably be seeking bigger fights after his big win against Dorian Darch so maybe we'll see him out against someone like DL Jones for the Southern Area title or something?

If this was due to on a Matchroom card then it’s a bit of a worry that Allen is complaining about money.

I’d just about tolerate this on Channel 5 now but really Hughie needs to step up his opposition to Euro level.

I can’t believe Peter is even entertaining this fight to be honest! Absolute pointless fight ! Look what he did to Sam sector and I honestly think the current Sam sexton beats Dave Allen

I can well believe it. Decent money and exposure for what will undoubtedly be an easy nights work for Hughie. Dave Allen as useless as he is in the ring, has a name and a fanbase (shockingly).

Hughie should not be fighting Dave Allen imo. Doesn’t matter how much he is getting paid, needs to be progressing in his career not fighting sub standard opponents like Dave Allen, David price would of been perfect imo.

Yeah, with Price theres more potential for an exciting fight as at least Price carries the threat of power for the 3 rounds he's able to fight without gassing. I'm just saying, I see why Peter is taking the fight for Hughie.

That's a tough question, Ortiz hammered a few in, Price jabbed a few more, I think once Allen tastes the canvas he retires, the beating he took against Yoka will probably have done lasting damage.
