Leonard fought the wrong fight in fight 1. Duran insulted Leonard's wife so Ray went toe to toe with Duran and fought flatfooted. Benitez didn't need to get on his bike to make Duran miss and pay

I can play this game too.

Imagine losing to DeJesus and being dominated by Benitez and Leonard and expecting to beat Mayweather

Yes but you're wrong. You still think 2005 Hatton might have had a chance against Mayweather ::pancarta:

I don’t know about this one to be honest out of the big 4 Durán is the one I always felt Floyd had his best chance to beat. It’s a pickem fight that on any given night either guy could win. A lot of people talk about Durán being a nasty guy but so was Floyd he just hid behind a smile. I could make a case for either guy winning on a Friday and the other guy on a Saturday. So I’ll go with a political answer, we the fans would be the winners lol

The Benitez And Esteban de Jesus fights might be instructive as to how the fight between Floyd and Duran would go.

Duran would win obviously if Floyd fought him like he did Castillo in the first fight with a torn rotator cuff.

Hatton could never beat Mayweather. Please don’t mention the great Charley Burley against Hatton as that would be akin to sanctioning murder.

Hands up, I missread that, so fair enough. I don't agree though. I think all the mauling and wrestling was to detract from the fact Hatton was very easy to hit because he came straight in with his chin up in the air.

Honestly I don’t think Hatton would ever have beaten Floyd, he was way too easy to time. Floyds adaptability would always prevail over a one dimensional fighter with predictable movements. The Castillo fight he did have a great performance (Castillo) but Floyd did have surgery after to repair the rotator cuff and in the rematch he totally dominated Castillo so a case for the injury can be made.

Pbf would have beaten Hatton worse at 140 than he did at 147. He was faster of both hand and foot and his power was still there at that weight. Hatton turned pbf down to fight at 140 after he beat zoo and pbf beat gatti saying they weren't ready.
