    What game?

I have no idea what point you’re trying to make.

Floyd was head and shoulders above all of Canelo’s other opponents. So yes, he looked the same except for against Floyd. Against Floyd, he was outclassed. But he didn’t fear Floyd’s power, he feared being countered by Floyd’s speed.

How does that relate to what we were discussing earlier?

Thomas Hearns would have had zero respect for Floyd’s power and Floyd would have been in survival mode.

Yes, that specific version of Ray was faded. But he was still a great fighter.

The version from their first fight was a better WW than Floyd.

Terrible match for Mayweather. Hearns speed, length power, variety and sharpness would be a nightmare. His jab is very likely the greatest the division has seen and not only can he use it to disguise the monster right hand but he can also hook off it. Those left hooks to the body would be in play here and if Mayweather fights to win he'd be stopped. If he shuts up shop he'd possibly see the final bell but lose comfortably.

Pertinent point - Hearns was told not to follow Benitez to the ropes and unleash due to Wilfred's absolutely insane ability to evade punches there and counter. He was also told to box and take his time and not go all out unless he caught Benitez with someting and hurt him. This would be a different fight.

There's no possible chance of Floyd lasting 12-15 rounds with Hearns. None.

Why ? Cause you say so ?!??
First of all, the fight is just 12 rounds.
And second of all, Mayweather is gonna outpoint him.

    I agree.

Floyd would also beat Ray Robinson, Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, and Bernard Hopkins.

Hearns outboxed the Sugar in their two matches. Outpointed Benitez as well, i don't know how someone can think Floyd can outpoint Hearns, let alone survive for 12 rounds.

    I can’t even envisage it.

The only way to beat Tommy was to hurt him and overpower him.

    Nobody outboxed him.

Floyd was a master boxer, but Hearns was 6’1 with a 78” reach.

Not only did he have an amazing jab, he had that monster right hand.

He’d have had zero respect for Floyd’s power and just backed him up.

Floyd would have fought ultra defensively in survival mode. (realistically, he’d never have taken the fight)

I think he maybe could have survived, but he’d have offered nothing offensively.
