I agree with Kirk. This idea that you must have more than 8 weeks to be in there at your best is new and bizarre. And if you genuinely need 10 weeks to be able to do boxing, up your state of readiness or lose millions.

It’s often stated that Canelo learned more about boxing outside of the ring than inside after his fight with Floyd. Same way Floyd learned from Oscar as Oscar learned others about the luxuries you have available when you’re one of the cash cows of boxing.
