Pirog would parry GGGs overated jab all night long, and have the height and footwork to counter. Based only on their form leading up to when they were supposed to fight, I think Pirog takes this one.
Prime Gioovkin’s physicality would be way too much for Pirog to handle for 12 rounds. Probably late stoppage.
The same ggg that looked average at times against former 154 fighter in Ouma? I think this fight would've been closer than people think.
This fight would have been absolutely brutal in patches. Would have been a great fight, it really couldn't fail to be entertaining. If pushed I'd probably go with GGG in a very close decision, Golovkins jab would have won it for him, I just think Golovkins jab when at his best was such a great weapon and he would have had to use it in this fight.
