It was a good scalp for Floyd to get given he won with relative ease. But Clenald Mcdonald wasn't peak yet.
You mean canelo got pbf at that time??? He was 36 faded in his 5th weight class fighting a bigger younger man. It was supposed to be a passing of the torch fight.
Outclassed???? Stop it! Pac never beat anyone within 10000 light years of pea. Pac gets taken to slick school.
The only notable fights Pernell had was against Oscar DelaHoya and Felix Trinidad. He lost to both, not to mention his low rate of KOs. Pacman's prime will annihilate a prime Sweet Pea.
Pimp C you really need to give a tutorial class to the idiots who don’t understand boxing. They are very much in need of schooling. Please pass on your wisdom and judgment to them though I am afraid some are so stupid they will require remedial classes.
Dude I know Whittaker is very slick boxer but he always comes forward. Boxer who always comes forward is tailored made for Pac. He is below the level of Pac speed and accuracy. Pac also punch in bunches from different angle. Pac who fought Floyd was only 60%. Remember Pac had a shoulder injury when he came into the fight. He was not the same Pac who obliterated Hatton, dela hoya, cotto, and Margarito... and yet Floyd needed the help of the referee and the judges to get the win. Furthermore, Floyd was also on PED.
Dude I know Whittaker is probably the most defensive boxer of all time but I think Pacquiao exceptional speed and accuracy will trouble Whittaker. Pacquiao at the age of 40 is still a champion and can still compete at the highest level of boxing whereas Whittaker at the age of 37 was no longer competent to box at the highest level.
Whittaker should win, but if he stops and exchanges for too long or plants his feet briefly to dig to the body like he likes to pacquiao is going to hurt him. Pacquiao would really have to chase Whittaker down to get punches off , even then, pea is a master of distance and movement and landing clean on him is going to be difficult. I know pacquiao is capable of sensational output and would get punches through at times but pea was just such a defensive talent with insane determination.
Exodus 20:7 says: “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”
Well for starters the fight with Chavez was much bigger than the fights with Tito and De La Hoya. He was clearly robbed vs Chavez, and IMO robbed vs De La Hoya too. He was past his prime and wasn't above his best weight. Second, you mentioned Pea's KO rate like people are saying he'd stop Pacquiao. Why does his KO rate have to do with anything? Are you implying that Pacquiao wouldn't pay Pea much respect? Pea hit harder than Floyd and Pacquiao paid him plenty of respect. Third, no-one 'annihilates' a prime Whitaker. Saying otherwise is laughable.
