Prime Wlad fights the best version of Willard. Willard was strong with a solid chin, great stamina and boxing skills and he was big as Wlad. Does he beat Wlad?

Lately there's been a bunch of prime vs prime on here. Is the OP the main generator?

To answer this one. See Willard vs. Dempsey. Except Willard maybe gets up once before being KTFO (especially w/the old rules) :drooling:

I don't know, Willard did beat Jack Johnson and Willard would be prime Wlad's best opponent.

You watched Willard fight and that’s your conclusion? Lol.

    Wlad KO 1.

How long did Sam Peter last? What top tier fighters did Wlad stop in 1?

If wlad can survive the he early onlslaught from Willard he can win stoppage 7-12 but does he have the heart to push the major incentive ha ha

Willard was a strong beast of a man top 10 super HW’s of all time definitely it took pretty me Dempsey to beat him

against wlad he’s confident but if wlad can stay focused he can win late no easy feat at all trust me

could happen wlads stance is technical new school he could get the jump in the first round on any opponent wlad is an ATG in any era

I think vitali has more success here he’s stronger then wlad but willards stronger still anyway I expect him to wrestle hard here against both brothers

I know exactly what would happen.

Willard was big, strong, very durable, with embarrassing offensive skills and little in the way of defence. His footwork was minimal.

He'd be the perfect punchbag for one of the hardest-hitting technical heavyweights of all time.

Wlad would simply jab the living daylights out of Jess, and use his much lighter feet to move out of the way. Maybe a straight right if Jess got too ambitious. Around rounds 4-5, with Willard developing a nice case of pizza face, Wlad would decide that it was safe enough to start varying the jab with some 1-2's and maybe the left hook. Around round 9 Willard is a mess and the ref puts a stop to it. Wlad wouldn't give him a chance to get anything at all going.

    ....

Many of these old time boxers like Willard are overrated to the maximum.

Wlad on points is the safe bet. When did Wlad ever KO someone as tough as Willard early? It doesn't happen, and wouldn't here.

Willard was tall and powerful, but he would not be able to survive Wladimir's devastating punches, after all, Wladimir would be technically too superior...

    Wlad.
Willard doesn't have a good enough defense, his footwork is inferior to Wlad's. Wlad is likely much stronger and more powerful since he's got the benefit of training with modern PEDS his whole life. If the fight takes place in Willard's era rules, Wlad can just stand over him and pound him when he tries to get up.

You got some wacky takes bro but I rate you.

Always driving that Willard train .

Nah man he wouldn't even be top 5 in Wlads list of best opponents, I do think he could take Wlad the distance though, providing he was motivated, but it would be brutal.
